Match Brentford (A) - 02Feb, 2pm - Live on Sky

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I assume Ange plays Porro..... In turn, I'd trust Djed the most at LB. He's got pace and strength to match Mbuemo; plus the ability on the ball to put HIM on the backfoot.

No idea the front 6..... Who's fit enough etc.

Dippers game def. the most important to me and want us full(est) strength for that........ If anything goes too bad in the league we'll just have to chance our luck against Villa in the FA Cup.

Everton's next 2 in the league:

Leicester (H)
Liverpool (H)

Spurs:

Brentford (A)
Man U (H)

You'd predict 3 points for Everton; so long as we can match that then this won't worsen.
Agree re:Spence against Mbuemo. Both Davies and Reguilon will be cooked against him.

We have to stop the rot of constant league defeats and being so bloody easy to turn over. Have to find way to grind out a hard fought win. Postecoglou has pretty much used up his 9 lives but even his charmed life wont survive 3 defeats in the next 9 days.

I think you are right, Ange will go:

Porro Gray VDV Spence

Davies for VDV on 60mins

Then he will be hoping to go like this vs Liverpool:

Porro Romero VDV Spence

As much as we need a result here, chances are we won't win regardless of what team we put out and Liverpool next Thursday is our biggest game of the season so I think we should rotate a little. I'd keep Porro, VDV, Bergval and Richarlison fresh for Liverpool and go strong with the rest.

Kinsky
Spence Gray Davies Reguilon
Bissouma Bentancur Sarr
Kulusevski Son Moore

I don’t think we even need to win that much. Especially away from home. Just don’t lose.
13 losses. 3 draws. That’s awful.

A lot of those losses by 1 goal. Just 3 draws out of those 13 the league would look very different to us. Our GD is good which is worth a point too.

But a continuation of risk / reward football could lead to proper squeaky bum time!!

I could. A defeat to Brentford we're probably 16th, 5 pts above the relegation zone with some shocking fixtures coming up.

We'd have 14 games in which to outperform Everton (next 3: Leicester, Liverpool. Bmuff)........... With some senior players returning (and maybe 1 or 2 new trfs); I'm at home with those odds. Meanwhile; regrettably, an FA Cup run just stretches us a bit too far right now.

Cup final
Europa last 16 (and potential progression)
EPL survival battle.

It's basically what remains for us this season.

...........................Also; I'd be more confident against Man U than I am away to Brentford anyway.
