only positive to come from tonight. as has been said would be nice to see him with some competent footballers
Apart from players getting competitive minutes, which is a good thing, Gil was pretty much the only positive from the game showed a wide range of skills which bode well for the future.
He looks like a fun player. I have no idea what position he is, but he catches the eye.

Didn’t think we could find a player as one footed as lamela but we’ve done it. Slightly worrying that he also has Eriks ability to fanny around and take too much time on the ball.

Bryan Gil is definitely playing as an AM. The width is coming from Sessegnon & the utterly useless Doherty.
But Bryan's starting position is frequently central, and he's both coming short to receive the ball on the half turn and spinning in behind.
Crucially, he plays with his head up and has a football brain, which puts him in a class above so many of our squad.

Played brilliantly. No fault of his own, but the talent gap between him and Sessegnon is frankly embarrassing.
Strengths are that he has fantastic ability on the ball, it was getting pinged into him in tight areas and there was never any doubt about him losing possession. He also shifts his body brilliantly to wriggle clear of challenges.
Assisted Kane with a great ball. The speed of thought is there, as is the technical ability to shift it extremely quickly.
Best of all, he seems brave as hell and clearly trusts in his ability. Not one to hide… could be the technical press resident ball player we need.

Was fantastic today, really impressed by him, his movement and confidence on the ball was great
quality addition! elegant on the ball and knows what to do with it. looking forward to seeing him feature more in bigger games! we need that class in the final third
I have a feeling he's going to be a star for us for years to come.
Early days and i remember the Jose Dominquez debut but i like the look of him. Looks a clever player and potential playmaker, has pace and nicks the ball off the oppo a bit as well.
