Competition Carabao Cup

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I presume we’re more or less guaranteed to be on TV if it’s just us and United playing in this comp on the week of the 16th. I assume Sky are allowed to show these fixtures even if the CL is on TNT or whatever it is at the same time

Have I got this logic right?

- We will definitely play the week starting the 16th (because we're playing in the Europa the following week)
- We play Woolwich on Sunday 15th, so we can't play in the Carabao on the following Tuesday
- We play Brentford on Saturday 21st, so we can't play in the Carabao on the Thursday (I don't even know if that's a thing)
- PL matches will not be shifted for the Carabao
- So we must play in the Carabao on Wednesday 18th
- Home or away will be decided in the pre-draw before the Forest - Saudi game tonight
- Opponents will be drawn after the Forest game

Anything wrong with that?

We have 48 games minimum.
And up to 69.

Every game will be shown live this season.

Carabao Cup On TV

Live Carabao Cup football on TV (formerly the EFL Cup, traditionally the League Cup) is shown in the UK by Sky Sports.
Sky Sports will show every match from the 24/25 Carabao Cup live, from the first round to the Carabao Cup final on TV.
ITV will simulcast one of the semi-finals and the final live in the 24/25 season.

The 2024/25 season will see the launch of a new five-year broadcast deal between the EFL and Sky Sports.

What are the headlines?

  • In total, over 1,000 (1,059) of the EFL’s 1891 games across the Sky Bet EFL, EFL Cup and EFL Trophy will be broadcast:
    • 328 Sky Bet Championship matches
    • 248 Sky Bet League One matches
    • 248 Sky Bet League Two matches
    • All 15 Play-Off matches
    • All 93 Carabao Cup matches
    • All 127 EFL Trophy matches

Looks like they've give the champions league teams home ties and europa league teams away. If so that's not a fucking draw is it just deciding who's home who's away. Load of bollocks if that's the case.
