I stand by what I said...should be one league + one cup competition per country. Way too many shitty comps out there, too many games being played and the quality of the footy on show suffers as a result, players getting more injuries too. Fuck FIFA, UEFA & co...money-obsessed whores.

Why are you blaming Fifa and Uefa for the league cup?! lol.
Spain and Italy only have one cup throughout the season, Supercopa's are just one game between league and cup champions from previous season like the shield for us.

Its the FA, PL that needs to decide what to do with the league cup not Fifa or Uefa.

The LC is perfectly fine as it is. Gives opportunities for smaller clubs to get a pay day, bigger clubs get some interesting away days, and a trophy at Wembley is on offer. FFS we sold out our 5k allocation easily just to STHs for a midweek game up at Newcastle. Demand is there.

This was comfortably the worst fixture we could have got. They will go hell for leather in it having been to the final 2 years running and we have a horrible recent record at theirs.

The Carabao is absolutely stacked, so whoever wins it will most likely have to play 2 or 3 of the best teams in the PL.

It's twice as hard as the Europa was, at least

3 fewer fixtures to contend with in the 49 days between 15 December and 2 February.
