Ex-Spurs Player Carlos Vinicius

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

What if Levy twists and squeezes the Benifica chairman's plums and manages to renegotiate the terms of the deal and can buy Carlos for let's say 15 mill?
It think it would depend a lot on whether Kane stay or go. Kane stays, then 15 mil for Vinicius as back up is alright. Kane goes, then we need to invest every pence to the first choice replacements (multiple players and different positions not just forward), thus unlikely have the luxury for a back up forward.

I quite liked him tbh, hard working, was pretty fast & done a job scoring goals when starting, just doesn't have the technical ability for the Prem in my opinion, maybe that could be coached as he is still young

Admin Admin move this please

Anyone else a bit confused as to why this guy hasn't been replaced yet? Surely we should be looking for another decent striker in his prime years? Danny ings sort of calibre.

I know we've got Dane, but come on...he needs another year or two at least before he'll be pushing for a consistent starting place.

Levy doesn't want to spend money but he expects the club to be in the champions league.

Vinicius was not good enough to play against anything other than the real dregs of Europe. In the PL he looked like a piece of furniture and he struggled badly even against Antwerp in the EL group phase.

He was brought in to save Kane from having to play against the very worst opponents in the cups and he did that up to a point. Kane still had to be wheeled out in many EL matches bevause Vinicius was so poor.

Tottenham's greatest striker since Jurgen Klinsmann going to PSV on loan.

€2.5 million for the loan (2 seasons)
€10 million for 50% of his economic rights at the end of the loan, obligation to buy

(Not officially confirmed but seems to be something like this...)
