At any a large brain box wasn't needed to foresee all of these problems. They should have been addressed before the start of this season. For some unexplained crazy arse reason they were doubled down on.

Imo, sarr was quite lucky not to get a red.
 
Yes, VAR as currently implemented is an absolute mess. It needs to be completely redone or taken out.

Of course if there was no VAR yesterday, their second goal counts and we probably do even stupider things and go on to lose 4-0.

VAR is not the reason we lost that game, it's not even in the top 10.

He hasn't spent a billion in fairness. It's not the same as say ETH who wanted shite like Anthony, Hoijland, Xirkshatever, Mount, and all the other expensive shite they bought.
Maresca actually had to deal with their bloated squad and didn't do a bad job of pushing Stirling out for example. Wiki shows their net spend this season as about £60m
