FUKK YES!!! wow I haven't played that series in donkey's years!

I agree with the apathy - but don't say that word round ere you'll get jumped on for it ;)

Conte had enough of Spurs n don't blame him best exit of a manager in ages with the mother of all mega rants :)
I was of course referring to him being in charge of Chelsea at the time and it was a good time to play them because of that. We've had a few of those against them over the years but never capitalised on it. Home and away in 2015-16 prime examples.

As for his Spurs rant, I had no issues with him on that. This club and elements of the fanbase have to realise that what we have now (and even then) just isn't acceptable. With even sensible backing we should be challenging consistently on multiple fronts given the club's foundations. We are underachieving on a monumental scale.

Well, we have 3 games in 7 days

3rd - Chelsea
6th - Southampton
10th - Frankfurt (h)

and then of course

13th - Wolves
17th - Frankfurt (a)

I'll give you a clue - only 2 of these fixtures matter. We absolutely must be at full strength for these games and cannot risk injury or fatigue because Brian wants to get one up on his Chelsea mate at work.

Ange masterclass incoming, and into the Semi's we go.
You can’t just rest all the players in the league matches before the EL game and expect them to come out firing on all cylinders against Frankfurt. They need to have some kind of rhythm and be match fit and that only comes from playing.

So unprofessional as well snapping at fans. How many times has he done it now. Must be 4 or 5. Hes under pressure and he knows it. Welfare point of view I empathise but if you cant stand the heat stay out of the kitchen.
It seems rather odd that he rested some of the players for the Fulham game. Almost as if he is making sure that they are well refreshed for the International matches!!!

If ever there was a game I am not watching is this one. They aren’t playing well but we are utter shit. I think it could be embarrassing. I’m talking tore Andre flo scoring 4 and losing 6 1 kind of embarrassing. But we’ll be lucky to get one. My god I can even remember where I was that day.

This is one of the worst spurs teams I’ve ever seen, comparable to that one.
Tbh if ange is still boss when we play liverpool away I will swerve that. Probably go to cinema and switch phone off. Sad state of affairs when you avoid watching your team. Dont think I've ever done that as a supporter tbh.

Yeah we won that one largely because Conte was as good as gone, his players knew it and had checked out. It was about time we caught them when their players had stopped playing for their manager. Usually it was our lot in that mindset.

Before my time - but mine is probalby Ossie Ardiles but there's soo fukkin many to remember...I was a kid & we were so shit I got soo much crap from rival fans at school that never even wore their kits or went to their games (I was petty back then I was 9 or 10yrs old)

At least we were genuinely entertaining with Ossie and at least he could provide credentials of playing the game at the top level!

Unlike this Clown 🤡

Would love to have seen Levy’s face when he first heard it!!

I am so not ready for yet another pathetic showing against these bunch of twats where we just let them have their way with us showing nothing, no fight, no passion, no ability. Been too many times and against this club it makes me extra fucking sick.

This sudden change in Ange’s attitude towards carefully managing the workload of certain players has no discernible and sound rationale behind it I’m afraid. He’s either being passive aggressive after all the criticism he has received , or trying to claim the moral high ground as the manager who refuses to run his players to the ground even if it means he’ll eventually lose his job because of it.

It’s a moot point anyway as nobody in this squad is capable of “saving ” him,but it’s amusing regardless.

I was confused at the time as to why the fans took the outburst with such negative sentiment tbh, I agree the football was dire by the end but I'd equally point at the squad we equipped him with as a large part of the reason for that, we gave him Spence and Bissouma neither of whom he wanted because the scouting team had deemed them to be good market value at the time, then sent him off on his first full season literally being forced to choose between playing Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez in his back 3 alongside converted left back Ben Davies... Conteball was not bad to watch in the first 6 months, we absolutely pumped some teams with those well drilled counters. If anything the way I took his rant was speaking out on behalf of the fans who have to come week after week and watch us flop out of every competition because we've half baked the squad yet a-fucking-gain.
