again none of that is proof of the premise that was stated...

I'm not disagreeing with you, except we did - we had intensity at stages but we couldn't get a goal.

So you're telling me Sarr didn't try? or maybe he just hoofed it & wondered...all the team thought the same eh?

This wasn't as bad as the last 3 games it objectively wasn't...we still lost yes but my eyes don't lie to me & I saw some fight but not enough nor good enough from our manager either...
I Beg to differ and saw 0 fight and intensity. Each to their own eh

On the train back. Not sure I can bring myself to read the thread. Normally losing by the odd goal at their place could be a glorious defeat. This was a shambles. Surprised there were not more goals but we deserved nothing from this game.

Highlights:
1. Had a nice pint of London Pride before the game. Pub’s card reader didn’t work. Had no choice but to let a fair few of us have free beer.

2. Got the train back from West Brompton. Surrounded by Chav scum. What a weird bunch. Unwashed trashy vermin mixing with Yank tourist fans. Got to the next stop and a fight started between them as the station was busy. Kids crying. Orcs smashing each other. Hilarious.

3. Honestly still happy and proud not to be them. Our fans were fantastic and well up for the game. Chavs? They lack class in every aspect.

Lowlights:
1. Everything to do with the football, our shambolic lack of any credible system, same old tepid suicidal play around our box. Just embarrassing.

2. Modern football, VAR, plastic fans, bent refs.

3. The fact that I found the stadium, my ticket worked, I got to my safe standing seat and so had to watch the game. As Oscar Wilde once said, watching modern football is a waste of a good walk and a few drinks.

As for Ange - honestly, will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?

100%.

We can make improvements of course, but we have a good squad, and a good blend of experience and youth.
The problem is that they're low on confidence...as we all are going into games; and they're being made to persevere with a system that clearly isn't working, and that every opposition knows how to exploit.

A decent change of manager and system and we'll be back up between 3rd and 6th with this squad IMO.
The issue missing us is Mentality...

I keep saying this whether it's from within or the coach, you got to have it!

0? you haven't played or seen our worst - cos if you think that was lol you're in for a long time with Spurs.

We got a disallowed goal due to studs up but Sarr put it in the net didn't matter but if that isn't fight or intensity as we saw in the 15minutes of the game then sure mate you're blind...
