I thought we did alright. Looked better in defence and midfield. Unlucky to have the goal chalked off, but so where Chelsea. VAR really is shite!

Very unlucky for Son not to get that goal in dying minutes.

I thought Solanke was particularly poor. Lots of running, but as soon as the ball came near him, he either had an awful first touch or was easily eased off the ball. He failed to attack any of the balls put into the box.

I kinda agree with you Harry. Solanke took the easy option several times playing for a foul which a hostile ref is never gonna give. Dunno why these players don't read the referee? Spurs morale is low - he picked the best team today maybe but didn't in the last 10 games. Archie Gray is average. He hurts Spurs by being picked. It;s all on the Frankfurt encounter now - at least the manager has played his strongest team in a competitive team together.

Just got in from the game , what is it with the roads - they close loads of them at night and you struggle to get home at a decent time . Rant over on that . The game :- well I think the first half we played poorly but so did they so it sort of balanced out . Lots of loose passes and we did our usual trying to play out from the back and losing the odd ball in the process . But we went in at half time levels 0-0 . Second half well it was full of drama Chavs scored and they celebrated like they'd won the league . They scored again and some of our supporters stormed out but after a long deliberation it was ruled offside much to our delight . Then we scored but that was ruled out after the ref went to the side of the pitch and looked on the monitor . We had a few penalty shouts and we felt a bit hard done by because they were open to interpretation . We were in fine voice throughout and did ourselves proud on that front . I'm just glad we gave them a tough time of it and they had to battle . I was dreading losing with a whimper , but instead there was nearly a punch up . I think the ref got a lot of things wrong , but that's without the benefit of replays . We didn't stink the place out , but we weren't good enough either . Onto Sunday against the saints......Yid Army

I’m so bored of people describing things as bad luck which aren’t unlucky. Son missing a chance isn’t unlucky. A very clear foul being given as a foul isn’t unlucky anymore than an offside goal being offside is.

I thought both teams were a lot of nothing frankly (it was a low quality game of football) but we basically created nothing till we went 1-0 down and got what we deserved.

Looked better in defence btw? We literally allowed them a 1on1 within 5 minutes. Palmer had acres of space all game. Their own crap decision making and finishing prevented a much worse loss.

As for looking better in midfield .. until Sarr came in we didn’t have a midfield. It was just a big gaping hole. Bergvall carried the ball a few times nicely but there was no cohesion or shielding of the defence. Caicedo ate our midfield alive.

We essentially had one serious chance across 90 mins .. anybody genuinely thinking that is ‘alright’ needs to give their head a wobble.

The greatest indictment is that our standards are now so low that tonight's performance could even be perceived as 'alright'. Basic football movements, like a winger running into space and putting a decent cross in, have become the exception to the norm.

We were a disorganised, uninspired mess tonight. Barely a press to be seen and horrible off-the-ball movement, both offensively and defensively. No conviction, no desire. I'd take just about any other manager in the Prem over this muppet.

Inject this into your veins...
Watch and watch again...

THIS is what we are (mate)
...a FUCKING laughing stock...

This is what EVERY Spurs fan is facing going into work tomorrow...

And not just from fat faced Chelsea fans .. seemingly from every cunt from every angle...

Honestly, the brazenness that Cunty openly displays his hatred for Spurs makes me SERIOUSLY wonder if he was deliberately SHIT for us...

I'd call for him to pay back every unearned penny of his contract with us... Cos it was clearly sabotage.

How he can even pretend he EVER tried his hest for us is as pointless as Ange saying he didn't cup his ear out of spite tonight...

Literally EVERYONE hates Spurs, ex-Players to current managers....

Why don't we all just pack it in and go home.

Leave Levy to his little race track and hotel....
See how that works out long term, with an stadium to fill every match day.... Full of tourist fans wondering where all the atmosphere went... Cos no other fucker who actually SUPPORTS spurs is gonna bother a few years from now...

Rewatching the Enzo goal, and I think it could have been easily avoided.

Udogie was wrong sided, but was aware he also had a player behind him. However, as the ball came in, was never going to win it, but for sure he could have put Enzo off by at least challenging for the ball.

Vicario really should have come out and claimed that ball. We know if there is any contact, the ref will always award the foul on the keeper. It was the perfect height for him and just a few yards away.

Romero and VDV did not communicate when Enzo made his run. Very clever movement; which left Udogie covering 3 players at the back. As the ball comes in, Romero is marking nobody and looking to be the first man the block the near post.

VDV ignores Enzo's move and doubles up on Jackson, leaving Enzo completely free. There was no time for Son to tuck in and help.

Ultimately, all down to communication between the players. Nobody called out Enzo's run, and that really should have fell on VDV on Udogie to deal with.

What's needed to turn it all around? Have a club really capable of winning shit that really matters?

Someone has to be willing to drop some very serious coin over the next two seasons. Double probably triple what it's been to now. At least.

It will mean financial losses. It will probably mean big financial losses.

A person willing to drop such amounts must have a belief that doing will eventually pay off through having a champion world class team.

The present ownership clearly doesn't believe this. So Spurs are always going to be placing hope on the next shiney new thing.

If levy really had a clue, he would realise that sacking ange now and bringing in anyone else, even mason, would give us new manager bounce for the europa...
