Something is missing from last year, absolutely. Our summer signings have been very underwhelming and we have been riddled with injuries to key players too. I think we'all finish between 4th-6th and that's a step back. Can't argue that. If we do something stupid like sack Poch though we may very well find ourselves in a much deeper hole in a year's time.
As much as it's annoying we lost the Chelsea, it's no shame in losing the unbeaten run to them. Currently they are the best team in the league with how they're playing. They got lucky, but we've had luck in the past. It'd been a lot worse if we'd lose it to Spam last week or to someone like Burnley!
If we play the same way next week then we'll punish Swansea. Today showed how they concede goals for fun, against a piss Palace team.
Poch needs to focus on getting Lamela and Toby fit this week. The formation was on top today. Wanyama was excellent, Dembele had a bad second half but he'll come back next week. Eriksen looked good.
Take the positives from today, there's a lot of them.

When Woolwich win tomorrow we will be 4 points behind.
When United win we will be 1 point off 6th.
If Watford and Evertwon win we'll be 2 points away from 8th.
It's only December and we're 7 points off the top. I thought we'd at least challenge.

I agree. We played well given Wimmer at left-back, no Toby etc. Just so unfortunate today... but I still stick to my thought that Poch seems to have problems with half-time talks sometimes (I must admit it didn't seem the case today though, so apologies for my previous comments)
One win since SeptemberWe are Spurs.... when did we become so self entitled.... we just lost to a team that have not conceded for and won their last 6 games..... and they are now top the league.
Yeah we rested a few players mid week but the majority of the team played... heck even dembele played 3 games in 7.5 days....
Poch thought we should at least try to get a result today?

Wow. A lot wrong here. A lot of the bigger picture things being missed. The first half great ( but plenty of Spurs sides have put in a decent half at the bridge ) but that second half ? Wow. Just how much evidence do we need that a lot of these players are either mentally or physically shot.
Then consider the bench. Is that WBA's bench or a title challenging squad bench ? Ridiculous to even try to defend that. Yep. The subs did ok when they came on. But doing ok and showing real intent are two different things.
We are not able to hide from 1 win in 10 games. We are not able to run from the lack of investment in the summer. My view is they spent enough to stand still. When others moved forward.
Lots of one off positives can be had from this game, but the bigger picture is a huge concern. Oonamah really an option away to Chelsea. Anyone remember him v Liverpool's reserves last month ?
One last point. Given the bad blood from last year where the fight was today is another question needing to be answered. Do not fucking lose. End of story.

We won't sack Poch, he gives Tottenham free players from the Academy. Levy would never risk losing that while the stadium was being built.
I know there are a lot of posistives to take from today, even though most on here seem to think we are 1 point of bottom at times... I just really hate the chavs! I just hope I live to see the day where our unbeaten run at there racist cunt den comes to a end!!!!
I didn't say 9/10. I said well, which includes taking into account the fact that they aren't playing with all the first team squad. Equally I could ask you to name anyone who was less than 5/10. But I'm just not that kind of fan.
He did a press conference and disagreed with Poch. I doubt he'll be on the bench for many a week now.

Second half looked laboured at times. Wimmer doesn't offer much as LB- he's certainly no Danny Rose. And we did look tired/out of ideas.
