So basically Munn will pay for Ange failure with his head. The question is then:

Was Munn deeply involved in bringing Ange and then keeping him despite obvious struggles this season? Or it was all Levy and Munn will be just used as scapegoat?

Nevertheless, i couldnt care less if he will be gone together with Ange.

Probably a bit of both. Munn and Ange know each other (no idea how deeply) from running in the same circles in Australian football and pro sports. So Munn probably championed his compatriot.

But I totally believe that Ange also charmed Levy himself. And then Munn could function as a sort of shield.

I wonder who are the senior sources leaking to the media about his position being in doubt. One would think it would have to be peers rather than subordinates, for them to have this info.

I wonder if other board members, who have wanted Ange gone for a while, are now leaking this because Munn has been one who has been supporting Ange and probably been telling Levy to be patient, and that we will reap the rewards. And now, having seen that this turnaround hasn't materialised, Munn is going to be the one who pays.

Levy is going to want to sacrifice someone for this atrocious season, and one would think Munn was big time behind the appointment of Ange.
 
Another dogshit Levy appointment. We'll run with the Woolwich CEO for the next 2 years and then it will be another uninspired "revamp" and the clowns will keep coming through the revolving door.

I remember some liking of Linkedin posts by Munn regarding Ange coming to us early that summer before he was solidly linked. I think he was the possible target from then on in.

Amazing isnt it. Levy, Cullen and Collecott been there for decades and around them is just chaos and a constant revolving door of other board members, directors of football, recruitment teams, managers and coaches from the first team to youth teams. Just no self awareness, just another round of 18 month appointments for the next 'rebuild' and on and on...

I swear to God, if you are a half competent sensible Australian this past 18 months must have been hell. There's one bloke on this forum who is an Aussie, who never really brought into the cult and called out the obvious problems. But the idea you can excel in the A league and this makes you able to compete at EPL level was alway obviously fucking insane. How can our board be this fucking dumb...and the Celtic FFS...
