Show Munn the door asap and kick him on the arse through the gate.
Apparently it took about 6 months to start the job (as he was busy elsewhere) and we've plummeted ever since.

Plenty of commentary on Australian Spurs supporters being clueless/loyal/blind fans of Ange. I can tell you just like any other Spurs person for decades, i am not much different to other loyal ones. I'm third (maybe fourth) generation Spurs and dropped big money over the years and crazy logistics to fly to games and all that goes with it. We don't all live in one place our whole life and because we're born somewhere have no connection to our Spurs ancestry or know less or more because we work or live in a place for 10 years or more etc. Greatest respect to the Spurs away fans who religiously turn up and spend their hard earned coin.

Did i back Ange in the beginning, absolutely! But then like most sane Spurs people, i've seen him way out of his depth, dragging us down with diabolical, inflexible tactics and taking us south with him.

And yes should've been flicked a while back with his staff in my opinion. Rebuilding sounds great, but with the right team in place not the one overseeing demotion and no signs of growth.
I did make the effort to separate Australian fans who were NOT willfully blind to the growing questions around Anges competence. We all wanted it to work. But once it was clear there was no functional plan sensible people pulled back. That weird nationalist clique however they were something else.

Nah, they literally gave him a PC in a cupboard and let him work gardening leave whilst getting in an actual guy who’s respected in the industry in Monchi. There is no real evidence he’s good at his job. Every team uses analytics now and a lot of people in football have blagged their way into jobs by being early adopters of it without all the other skills that are really needed to build successful football teams.
Langes reputation was inflated by the likes of Ali Gold. He is not some deeply respected data sage some paint him as. Some people took way too much from money ball. Nearly all clubs run the numbers.

According to BBC he's leaving after two years at the club. Good news. The guy is completely clueless and was the reason for appointing Ange. Obviously Levy is not impressed by the teams performance. A watered down Europa league won't change that. The new format is a small club tournament. We may beat a norwegian team to reach the final, but so what? We're still shit under Munn, Ange and Levy. Beating teams like AZ, Frankfurt, elfsborg, and maybe Bodo Glimt won't change that.

I still have no idea what he did , what he was meant to do , what Levy stopped him doing and what he was incapable of doing that he was supposed to do.

Forget Austin Powers this bloke was the real International Man Of Mystery

On 30 July 2020, Lange joined Premier League team Aston Villa as Sporting Director.[6] Following Aston Villa's survival from relegation the previous season, and subsequent departure of Jesus Garcia Pitarch as Sporting Director, Lange was tasked with helping build a team that would challenge at the top half of the Premier League, rather than battle against relegation.[7] The signings of Emi Martínez, Matty Cash, Bertrand Traoré, Ollie Watkins and Morgan Sanson as well as Ross Barkley joining on loan from Chelsea helped Aston Villa to achieve that goal, finishing 11th in Lange's first season, spending most of the season in the top half of the table and having not been in serious danger of relegation at any point of the season.[8]

On 16 June 2023, as part of an internal restructuring process, Monchi was named as Aston Villa's President of Football Operations. Lange now assumed the role of "Global Director of Football Development and International Academies".[9]

On 9 October 2023, Lange departed this youth development role at Aston Villa to become Technical Director at Tottenham Hotspur.[10][11]

I quite like the players we have gotten since Lange has been here with Bergvall, Odobert and Gray but I think fans confuse him with a politically savvy DoF like Paratici. He is a technical director which is a bit different. In theory we could have a DoF and TD.

Considering our board is generally a bit useless I would quite like the club to bring in a DoF who is good at politics. Levy seemed to listen to Paratici and from what Ally Gold has written in the past Lange isn’t a charmer. We need a guy IMO who understands football and is politically savvy and that is the hole Paratici leaves.

Happy to keep Lange as a TD but we do need a political operator I feel.

Jesus - our third European semi final in my lifetime (I’m 52), and some of you on here are indifferent to it. Take a step back from being internet keyboard warriors and smell the fkin roses. Enjoy a potential European trophy. Frankfurt were far from shit. That’s the first game they’ve lost at home all season (all competitions). Their stadium was a hostile cauldron of noise. But a lot of you are so set on hating the manager you cannot see the wood for the trees. And you really don’t deserve a successful team unless you get behind them (all)!

The bloke who hired him is more culpable. Levy.

I'm not impressed with the current Villa side. Many of those buys suck. I speak for myself only. Nothing here screams genius. He should go with Ange and Munn.

Still 16th. Worse results in 137 years pathetic performance.

The difference is having a chairman that wants the best they can get versus one that will get the cheapest possible

You’re right. We should judge Ange on one game we won 1-0 on a penalty and not on the 21 games (for now) we have lost this season. A European semi absolves all issues with the team. Focus on this one fact to tell ourselves everything is fine. Focus on the one tree not burning to show the forest isn’t on fire. Thank you for the wisdom old chap.

I don't think he's saying that (or maybe he is??)

I THINK it's more about actually savouring and enjoying the one sliver of light in amongst the season of darkness we're enduring!!

I thought the adage of winning trophies were you needed to get lucky occasionally??
Well on League form, we should be nowhere near the Semi Finals of ANYTHING... but here we are...

...the one tree NOT burning in amongst the Forest fire...
....and we play Forest TONIGHT!!

IT
IS
WRITTEN!!

No fussed that Munn is leaving but do any of us actually have a clue what he does and what he should carry the can for?
Levy scapegoat , it’s all anyone ever is in my opinion

Alternatively:

He was originally hired to shine the trophy in the ENIC trophy cabinet . However now our solitary Carling Cup trophy has been melted down and sold for scrap his job is redundant
