It's who we are mate.
There was life before 2003, we have finished bottom of the top division on three occasions, nothing new to have a bad season.
Difference is that back in those days the Spurs squad and the way Spurs was run they weren't better....but today's Spurs squad should be fighting for a CL spot.

So many of us called this bullshit appointment out for what it was at the time.
Surprise Surprise. The usual suspects were talking the appointment up as some shrewd move by their Master, Daniel Levy or defending the appointment against any ridicule or criticism.
These dudes just get their pants pulled down time and time and time again.
Very much depends on how you define worst results, I could certainly argue you are defining league position rather than match results
