137 years , please explain ??
Tottenham Hotspur's poorest results in their 137-year history, particularly since the year 2000, have been marked by consistent struggles in the Premier League and a decline in overall performance. In 2003/04, they finished 14th, with 45 points and 57 goals conceded, a season considered to have lacked identity and direction. Other notable poor seasons include 2006/07, where they finished 15th, and 2009/10, when they ended in 9th

It's who we are mate.

Can't be the worst results in 137 years , in these seasons we were relegated to Division 2

1976–77, 1934–35, 1927–28 and 1914–15.

1977 bottom of league
1935 bottom
1928 2nd bottom
1915 bottom

Spurs supporters have suffered in other seasons and plenty of current supporters will remember 1977 , this season is not worse than 77.

I just took a read through the opening 7 or 8 pages of this thread.

So many of us called this bullshit appointment out for what it was at the time.

Surprise Surprise. The usual suspects were talking the appointment up as some shrewd move by their Master, Daniel Levy or defending the appointment against any ridicule or criticism. 😂

Airfixx Airfixx , Shadydan Shadydan , LeParisien LeParisien in particularly good form.

These dudes just get their pants pulled down time and time and time again.

There's not a day that goes by when we all think about 'not one brick' on here, talking of one's pants being pulled down I wouldn't pipe up if I were you.

Very much depends on how you define worst results, I could certainly argue you are defining league position rather than match results

1976-77 we lost 21 games in a 42 game season, adjust to 3 points for a win 45 points
1934-35 we lost 22 games in a 42 game season, adjust to 3 point for a win 40 points
1927-28 we lost 19 games in a 42 game season, adjusted to 53 points with 3 for a win (and we were only 15 points off winning league)
1914-15 was war affected season, where we were one of only 2 Southern teams in League (along with Chelsea) that finished in the bottom 2

So in those seasons 1976-77 we lost 50% of matches, 1934-35 we lost 52% of matches, 1927-28 we lost 45% of matches. This season we have lost 55% of matches.
So arguably except for the season where we were disproportionately affected by war call ups, this season has had the worst results in our history, and if you don't exclude the exceptional season, this is worst for 110 years based on games lost, and our 4th worst on a points per game basis..

And this from a club with the 9th largest revenues in the world. We are currently not the 9th biggest team in world, we are only the 6th best in our own city

Levy has found Scott Mann to be the new Director of Football Operations. His first task will be to find a new Director of Football to take over from Paratici. The new Director of Football will then be tasked with finding a new manager. The new manager will then identify new players to the new Director of Football. The new Director of Football will then pass on the recommendations to the new Director of Football Operations. The new Director of Football Operations will then discuss the names of the new manager’s requested players with the members of the Spurs Board. The Spurs Board will then discuss these with the old club Chairman ( Levy) who will reject these names and choose players who he considers financially more suitable. The team will play poorly for six months and the new manager will be sacked and Mason will be appointed as interim whilst the new Director of Football will , upon the request of the new Director of Football Operations and the old Chairman of the Board search foe a new manager to replace the old interim manager.
It's taking slightly longer than your 6 months, but otherwise you're spot on.
