Player "Club Trained" Players/Goalkeepers

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

What's the club trained situation like now?
Saw someone say it's even worse next season?

We have a number of players who manager might include in Squad as List B players which can increase size of squad, which could compensate for only having one CT (Austin) - List B players I'd suggest manager will look at include :
Alfie Devine (CM),
Jamie Donley (No 10),
George Abbott (DM/box to box/FB)
Dane Scarlett or Will Lankshear (strikers)
Mikey Moore (left sided wide forward)

All looked fine in last preseason, and I'd guess will go on this preseason next month

IMO all could be viable to add depth to squad - we can have unlimited List B players in CL and same players count as u21's in PL.

I'd guess Spurs might include say 3 in squad (including Mikey Moore) , and loan out others to higher leagues than they played in last season) .

All these players will qualify as CT when they turn 21

Ignore the comment 't's even worse next season' - its from Allie Gold whose knowledge of UEFA and PL regulations surrounding player eligibility in squads is pretty superficial.

Would Cirkin be an option instead of KWP?

Possibly

"In UEFA competitions, a "club-trained player" is defined as a player who has been registered with their current club for at least three entire seasons (or 36 months) between the ages of 15 and 21"

So basically it has to be a player who was with us at age 15 and didn't leave until he was 18 or older (in simple academy terms). Cirkin left in Aug 2021, so he would have been 18 or 18 I think. Born April 2002, so 19 when he joined them?

My question would be whether Sarr now counts? Joined us in 2021 when he was 18. Might depend if the loan back to Metz counts as one of the years he was registered to us (which I assume it does)

I believe from previous reporting that Cirkin would be Sarr would not - some kinda controversy with the latter as was seen as a similar scenario to Saliba at Woolwich which we screwed up.

I think the club trained thing is a wee bit of a red herring with our U21s/List B players. Certainly keen to see Devine benefit from this.
