Gives Ndombele a bit more experience of English football but maybe sub for Dier after 45 mins to give Dier his first 45 mins. Give Skipp his first 90 mins of season

Give Dele a ,2nd run out of the season.

Give Tanganga and Parrott their first starts - both alongside more experienced players.

Rests most of the players likely to start at weekend, but a strong bench if we need to bring them on.

Yes. Well the spear would have come in handy. Perhaps Aurier, KWP and Sanchez could all chip in a few quid and see how it works. I'm sure Vardy, Aubameyang, Aguerro et al will get the point.....geddit!

Colchester will get a lot of locals going who do not normally go and will want them to come back. That will not happen if they get thrashed but cannot see that happening but they will need to put a performance on and not just defend. They are not a team battling relegation so will not be used to parking the bus. That should give us chances but we need to take them and not just pass the ball around. Rest players yes but play those that are not match fit such as Dele, Davies and Dier. Moura should play and will need to take his chance. Just hope we do not get to 80 mins and not winning and then need to see it out.
