What stands out to me about yesterday's match is you figure that a team whose manager had just insulted their professionalism and quit on them would come out determined to prove something. They didn't. Instead they validated Conte's words. Look at Peresic on a break ignoring Son, Porro firing one over the net with Kane and Son open and calling for the ball. Then you have Lloris doing the same goofy things with the ball he always manages to do (the pass directly in front of goal to Romero, who was there for what reason only he knows). How do you defend a squad who panicked with a man advantage and lost their composure?
