Surely there’s no way Pep sticks this out.

They will be 2 years off competing again

Ferguson was able to reinvent but he pretty much did so by holding onto some of those top notch players, whilst bringing through the next brigade.

Not quite sure how Spendiola does it if that lot above leave, and it's in the air how good Rodri remains after his injury.

I thought it made sense for him to leave at the very pinnacle of his achievement.

Hmmmmm....

I'm shocked he's still there tbh

I'm not - would you leave a Job that pays you nearly £20mill a year @ 52years old?

He's got enough credit in the bank with Barca, Bayern & Citeh wins.

Also most Citeh fans I talk to are just like 'well it's just bad season look what we achieved' but I do agree they'll fast become, if not already a banter club.

He walked away from his dream job at Barcelona, citing burnout.

He's stayed at City, and wouldn't you know it, he looks burned out.

Pep has more money than he'll ever need, and he doesn't seem the type (a la Wenger) to just keep going doing the same thing forever with lesser results.

I can't imagine him still being there in 5 years and wouldn't be surprised if it ends considerably sooner.

He should have left last summer or simply not renewed his contract.

Forget burnout- he has done it all.

Oh well.

Because he can get paid that and be guaranteed winning things.

He could get Bayern or PSG in a phone call

If , God willing, the EPL’s legal team pulls it off ( and I’m not hopeful btw ) ; he’ll blame everything on forces beyond his control and leave with his head held high and more money than he knows what to do with.

Alternatively; he’ll leave with his head held high and more money than he knows what to do with .

It’s the way the world works today .
Unfortunately.

I remember the Barca thing & I fukkin loved how José pretty partly ran him out of football due to pure Mourinho Shithousery.

That was a different situation though, he wasn't going through a divorce, speaking from someone that divorced my bitch of an ex wife & the usual male pattern during this kind of thing a stable job helps also that fukkin court case will cost him with the prospect of probably 50% of his shit being taken. Luckily his Daughters are old enough so he wont have to pay Child Support.

He won't be there for another 5 years if Citeh continue in this manner as there's only soo much credit in the bank Pep has left not winning.

I said to someone here that what will happen is he'll disappear for a while get his life back on track then come back somewhere.

Well he'll also have enough money to know how much to give his ex wife, also his nepo babies will need money for their 'businesses' being models, Instagram Influencers, acting & singing careers...

If the confirmed reversal of the self-sponsorship cap kicks in this summer (?) they can just turn round and spend 500m on elite starters without blinking........

Could finally see Newcastle blow the shit out of the trf market too.

It'll render these cunts completely immune to FFP and be the final nail in the coffin for the rest of us.

WANK.

Probably won’t be as bad as everyone is afraid of
