Oh there has to be some form of exit clause in it. Either in case they get forcibly relegated or there's just a straight up buy out clause.

It is, amd 100% backing Spendiola but Haaland will be done in 3 or 4 years, physically if not mentally.
He is simply too big to do what Salah is doing for example, or even Kane.
Haaland only sees all that contract through if he plays a lot less games per season, in my opinion.
But yes, short term it's a big statement but also relatively straightforward. Who could he realistically have gone to,apart from Real Madrid?
This was supposedly the plan that Erling's dad and Raiola put together for his career. Start in Austria and Germany, become a big name in England, then on to one of the Spanish big two.
Raiola is obviously no longer alive but Alfie is still around him to help steer Erling's career. So there has to be a out clause or the plan has imploded on itself.
You have to assume he / they are confident that the FFP charges case is either won or the punishment irrelevant
