They need to sort themselves out asafp.. They're only 7 points off of them.. And if they're on their shoulder going into the final stretch, the bottlers will bottle.. So cut it out with this self destruction shit, get a grip, get on with it and save English football from the worst case scenario.

its over, city look shit. they have weakened their 11 and squad drastically over the last 3-4 years. keep playing little shitters like rico lewis in midfield, awful.

Would be interested to see their win/loss % when Rico Lewis is in the team.

Obv talented on the ball but he's slow, weak and looks their worst player every time I watch them. Feel like he's at the scene of the crime in all their dodgy results over the past year or so.

Sh!t owners.

That's what you get when you buy second rate players like Haaland.
I actually would've kept Julian Alvarez at City. Haaland, yes, he scores goals, fucking loads of them, but he's not a city player. They're not that same cohesive unit where everyone dies on the pitch to win the ball back. You just can't get away with that in the premier league anymore. He's an odd one.

Before the pile on, I'm not saying he's shite, the contrary, the best pure #9 in the world (Kane is a weird #9/10 hybrid), but Alvarez offered so much and has been a revelation at Atleti.

Let’s hope Guehi coming in has an instant impact. He is a good player so should help them a lot defensively. But he can only do so much. When I watch them in attack they are so slow and look like they are just waiting for the opposition to gift them a goal rather than actually playing fast and going for one themselves.

Pep seems to be struggling with adapting to the current "meta" in football which is the game slowing down and moving away from players specialised in one position.

Just comparing City to the Goons and a big reason for Arteta's success is that his team is by and large a team of generalists. Lots of players that are comfortable playing in different positions and who are in general big and strong bodies. Arteta's players constantly shift positions and move around which breaks the man marking system that so many teams in the PL rely on.

The game has started to catch up to Pep's highly intricate machine built with specially built parts who's breakage can cause the whole thing to collapse.

Very unfortunate that they signed Alvarez pretty much at the same time as Haaland because two players of that level were never going to work together. Alvarez is MILES better than Marmoush/Doku/Savinho/Cherki etc.

"Because it's difficult to understand that the club who make a big investment to pay one player who belongs to us and I don't understand why he cannot play the final.

"So, hopefully we write a letter, and hopefully the Carabao Cup can understand. He's not able to play for a rule that I don't understand why. Hopefully, they can change it."

It's because he's fucking cup tied Pep. Thems the rules.
Doesn't matter if you paid £30k and £30m - cup tied is a rule. Deal with it.

I know it wouldn't happen, but imagine they allow it. And I hope they do. Just to make the scum pissed off. Lol
