Perhaps one tacit understanding that players are made aware of when they sign for the Chavs is that their next team will be in Saudi Arabia.

They’re developing a pretty obvious model. Use Chelsea to stockpile the best players and then sell them on to the SA league. So Clearlake, who are backing SA, use the Chavs as a vehicle for circumnavigating FFP with absurd player purchases, whilst also legitimising the SA league at the same time.

There’s no fine that can even touch the sides. So the only way the PL can hurt Chavs is by docking points/relegating them, which they won’t do.

Such a hideous club.
 
Also, I still don’t understand why the Chavs were allowed to write off the debt to Abramovich?

I don’t mean in terms of legality. It Abramovich was prepared to waive it, that’s up to him. I’m talking about the PL and their own sporting rules and how a club has to account for its spending.

It’s probably why they can do 8 year deals on high wages. They know their Saudi pay masters will pay even if the players value falls off a cliff.

Now Todd will have spent 950m Euros in 14 months if Caicedo and Olise are bought. On 23 players.

For years it has seemed quite clear that for whatever reason, we are the club other clubs love to hate.

Never has any club deserved to be despised so much as that fcuking shower.
