Club Come here to laugh at the Fascist, Failing Chavs

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Boehly probably underestimated the size of potential liabilities he was buying and difficulty of suing Abramovich after the event - almost certainly didn't foresee clubs suing Everton for £300m for consequences of one breach of FFP, when realistically lots of clubs could go after Chelsea for 10 or 20 or 30 times that amount, and if Everton docked 10 points for one breach then with all the breaches Chelsea have they should be facing relegation (= huge loss of revenues) rather than 10 points.

He thought he'd play poker in PL but now realises poker includes the possibility of losing all the chips he bet.
Well Clearlake didn't buy the club off Abramovich, did they? I imagine their complaint would be lodged against Raine Capital for failure to disclose information which would spell out the dodgy accounting and the liability it presented. Whether they can successfully make the case or not, who knows, but that's who they'll go after. A western investment firm with assets which can be gotten.

The whole thing has been a shitshow from the beginning and continues to be so.

Also, holy fuck, you guys brought David Cameron back in?

:pochshock:

Tells you how small and irrelevant this club is, when they lose you don't hear a peep from the media, anyone else goes through the year they've been through then it would be blue murder.

Imagine the headlines if we were firmly rooted mid table for the entire calendar year, Christ.

It looked like they were making progress after playing citeh and scum but being midtable in December isn't just bad luck.

And the performances are a like a midtable club as well. Raising your game against the big teams but either scraping a win or losing against everyone else.

After spending a billion as well. Any other team would be expected to win the league after spending that much.

In all honesty, even Mou could not do worse than Poch.
So far he has 100% pathetically failed and most likely get sack much faster than Potter.

He has to go to lower stage now. No one can realistically regard him as top manager anymore.
Not after his past 38 games in EPL have resulted in 44 points. Majority of the relegation-fighting team managers would get sack for such a return. But he has managed to get so utterly shit results out of Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea (!!) Teams that had or have players like Kane, Eriksen, Son, Fernandez, Sterling and so on.

44 points.... from 38 last EPL games.
How is no one else seeing that?

Irrespective of any critique of Poch; you need more than a few good players these days.....

Some would have us buy Geuhi, Eze & Olise but CP are currently sat 14th.

Lester got relegated last season with Tielemans, Maddison, Pierera, Castagna, Barnes, Ndidi (+Daka)... All of which have been quite commonly wanted by Spurs fans.

Yes.

But you are missing the main point - with such a brilliant sides GOOD MANAGER should get at least SOMETHING out of them.

I am not saying he should have got 90+ points in this period. But come on, 44 points from whole season... that is not acceptable.

Chelsea are an expensively assembled squad..... I don't think many would describe them as "brilliant" tho' nor without issue off the field. He's not the first to fail to get this lot humming.

Spurs - He and the project had burned out and the aforementioned Jose never really managed to kick start it again either.

I can't logically find myself conjoining his Spurs form with his Chav form when there was a big chunk of other time and games in the middle and they also both involve completely different sets of players.

Irrespective of Poch (and i don't care whether he personally survives there or not), I hope they fail miserably; but once again we see a scenario where at the begining of the season all the chatter was "He'll be given a full season to make his mark"; but fans start shitting themselves after a few months cos everything hasn't already clicked and it'll probably provoke an itchy trigger finger in the ownership which is contrary to their gameplan.

Really got to credit the Spurs hierachy for resisting giving Poch a call. It could have been due to stubbornness but it really paid off with us eventually getting Ange.

While a lot of us thought it would be 'too soon' if he'd come back here, the Chelsea gig was an absolutely terrible choice for him long term. Nice immediate pay day, sure, but his value will take a knock from this. He really needed to choose his gig more wisely, and as you say it needed to be a lower 'level'/more suited to his project building.

I hope he enjoys the money that has ultimately soured him with a big portion of our fanbase.
