Club Come here to laugh at United

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

What’s happened to United is the greatest karma in sports history. For decades they got scandalous decisions left and right, now they’ve been paying the price since Sir Alex left.

Now to start laughing.

Amorim has been disastrous thus far. Nothing else describes it.

Has all the wrong behaviours to be a success (at that club) in my opinion, and will concede I thought they had bought a really good manager.

He might be a good manager. Everything around him is a dumpster fire. I think he's far too wedded to his ideas and too philosophical in a situation which clearly calls for practicality in the moment, but his vision might well be decent when realised.

None of the players they have suit this vision. The team has no goals in it.

Maybe, but that I'd the ling of argument all managers can use as a basis for not achieving what might be classified as success or progress.

They still get a lot of favourable decisions, e.g. the penalty Everton should have had - I'm sure the league (and refs) either consciously or subconsciously (if you don't believe it's any form of conspiracy) do just enough to keep them from ever getting into a proper relegation battle.

The PL global brand is built around 2 clubs. Man U and Liverpool. Their global reach ensures the PL can charge what it does to international audiences. If either were relegated it would have serious financial consequences which is why they won't ever be relegated.

I agree

One of them being relegated could actually be good for English football though - it might inadvertently narrow the gap that's opening up between the PL and the Championship
