Told my United mates it’s a massive risk going for a manager who plays a back three half way through the season. If you don’t have the squad for it its tragic to watch, they’ll have to spend a ton more on players to fit the system

Its blindingly obvious isnt it? Hire a guy that relies on wing backs and you have no wing backs.

SJR will realise his mistake before long and Amorim will be out the door.
 
United have the 2nd highest wage bill in the prem which is incredible considering the amount of shit they have . Personally I think there’s also a huge problem with laziness , arrogance & “ big time”

Amorim has a huge job on his hands and it would be stupid to sack him before he gets a window or 2

100% agree but they won’t take the chance. He’s probably got the January window and February and I’d expect they’ll target wingbacks and a striker. And all hinges on getting cash for Rashford.

If they are still wank come the end of Feb he won’t be safe.

It's absolutely mental. It's playing to the players' weaknesses. If you were the oppo coach you'd want them to set up just that way.

Just looked at their goals for column. If you take out the 2 brainfart gifts from City in the last few mins. And a certain keeper in yellow who must have had a massive bet on "both teams to score". You're going back to Forest which they lost 2-3 at OT.

And goals against? No clean sheets for weeks. Everton and Leicester.

Amorim's complaining about the amount of games getting in the way of this training schedule. Well hello! You didn't see the fixture list before you signed the contract? It's games every couple of days for them till early Feb.

Surely if you’ve got any sense you find a different setup until you’ve got the players you need for your system?!

At this rate they’ll wish they’d stuck with Ruud to see the season out.
