Either Gallagher or JP if we buy him.
Him being through and through Chelsea, was probably laughing at us this year and last... So why would someone who do this, leave Athletico Madrid to come to us.
I am guessing that he got insurances od some kind. I am guess maybe something to do with Poch coming back, seeing as their are rumours of Vivian and Charlie being in contact with Poch.
I just think people need to wait and see what happens after the world cup. I honestly think Frank has been given until the end of the season.
The guy we signed John Heitinga as a coach, who, from what other people have been saying, fits the mould of Poch type manager, rather than Frank.
But who knows, there has to be a reason why Gallagher came to us, as it can;t be the world cup, coz the club is a fecking state at the moment. No deserves to play for England from our club at the moment.

Yea I guess I should add them in too- lots to prove regarding their return to fitness and form. They can both fill up LW/RW/CAM as per the usual.
I think once they return, Spurs have a very good squad. With Sarr/Bentencur/Bergvall all able to come into midfield in place of one of the 3 (Xavi/Kulu/Madds) when we need to sit deeper; and Kudus/Kulu become interchangeable when we need pace vs precision.

Think he came to us cos we matched his massive wages and promised him regular game-time in the lead up to the WC. Don't think it's too much more complicated than that. The two offers on the table were us and Villa and we gave him a clearer path to regular minutes and a permanent deal.
If someone like Liverpool or City had come in he obviously would've gone there but those clubs didn't want/need him.
Despite being a shitshow right now, we're still an attractive proposition to players and offer more money than most. We won't attract the very best but we've signed decent established players like Maddison and Gallagher when we can't even offer European football (Gallagher surely knows we won't have it next season).
Usually it comes down to money. If we're offering top salaries we'll get good players regardless of how wank/chaotic we are.

It was widely reported that Villa couldn’t offer a permanent deal due to FFP. Only a loan with obligation. Which is why we got the deal done
hopefully made captain for the start of next season.
Because he played well under Poch. So the rabid foaming mouths think he'll be transformational here.
In reality, we signed a shite player for about £15m too much, and made him one of the highest earners at the club til 2031. Cracking not of business innit.

Because he runs around a bit? If we had any ambition as a side, the likes of Conor Gallagher shouldn't be starting games for us.

Think gallagher did ok today tbh and looks a decent signing. Its just that prick frank who has zero craft or guile in his coaching locker. Really is a crap manager.
Decent squad player but yeah lacks some quality, and shouldn’t be a guaranteed starter if we have ambition of top 5.
Why can’t we go and sign 2 Spanish DM’s ffs… Zubimendi would transform us, we need that style of player to dovetail with our runners
