Same could be said for the whole team, apart from Xavi who I thought did his best in the first half but was sinking in the medicority surrounding him.

That Gallagher was great second half, really put his in all in so fair play

Gallagher is the type of player that needs to play in a team that is going to go after teams and make contact with the opposition. In the first half we weren’t that team and he was ineffective but in the second half we were and he was good. It’s not rocket science.
Him and Paulinha are guys we need if you put really good players to offset what they give. Another player like Xavi would improve us massively.

Possibly but you get a sense... last week it was hard to find a positive post on him. Tonight you can't find a negative post. Truth, as with most of our squad, is that he's somewhere in the middle... some good games, a few bad ones and a whole gaggle of meh games
