Yep everyone overrates the Poch team. It was just exceptionally well balanced, Eriksen and Dele’s flaws where covered by having the likes of Dembele and Waynama behind them.
We have no wingers. So play 3 strikers in attack and wonder why we don’t generate any chances. Yes we have injuries but even if Kudus and Odobert were fit we still have only two wide players. We also have no passing DM, Gray isn’t a pure 6 and Palhinha is a destroyer.
There is no alignment between squad and manager. It’s all square pegs rounds holes. We only need 2 of Richy, Solanke and Muani and only one of them on the pitch but we have to play them due to our stupid squad building.
It’s hard to see a worse balanced squad. We don’t have the worse quality squad but we have the most misaligned one. Our squad actually reminds me of when the papers put out a list of footballers in the final year of their contract and it’s just a random assortment of players.

He was a poacher moonlighting as a RW. The fact we didn't even loan an okay one is beyond me. I was wary of Lange spending money in January because of what he'd do with it. We got Conor Fucking Gallagher, so I've no confidence had we went out and signed someone they'd be decent.
He's the worst we've ever had. Sacked from Villa and we grab him up as quick as we can. Shows our ambition.
The worst thing about all this is that the Club has previous experience of what works and what doesn’t.

Hard pressed to choose between him and Dom. One replaced likely our greatest ever and is out record signing, and Gallagher was the player carefully chosen to get out of this current jam.

Johnson being whatever you describe him as at Palace is irrelevant. For the most part he did a decent to good job for us of scoring goals.
That numerous posters said Frank sussed out Johnson early doors would only have had any weight if what we saw under Frank in Johnson's absence was something worthy of the name. We didn't, so Frank's view lost much credibility.
That said having decided to sell Johnson, get a bloody goal-getter in, or another wide man or an out and out striker. If too difficult don't fcuking sell.
The size of the catalogue of poor decisions is one Argos would be proud of.
