Player Conor Gallagher

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I knew this was going to be a disgustingly bad signing ( and said as much in this thread) but he's actually been worse than even i thought

James Maw made the argument on vftl that he is the worst signing in the history of professional football and I have to say it was quite convincing.

James Maw, whoever the fuck he is, is talking complete gash then.

Gallagher may not be great but to label him as such is pathetic, hyperbolic nonsense.
Just click bait bullshit to rile up the morons.

He’s the worst signing ever since our last worst signing ever.

Every time you think we can’t possibly spunk more money on another fucking donkey, we manage to go and find someone even worse.

It’s quite remarkable.

Is Gallagher the captain Spurs need?

Roberto De Zerbi takes charge of his first home match with it already feeling like a must-win fixture for the Italian against his former club. Sitting in the relegation zone, Spurs’ three remaining matches at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be vital in the battle for survival. They travel to Wolves next weekend, desperately hoping to carry some momentum with them. With Cristian Romero absent through injury and set for a spell on the sidelines, De Zerbi will be without one of his most important players and will need to decide where the armband goes as the vice-captain, James Maddison, is out too. De Zerbi needs someone with strong leadership skills who can set an example for teammates. Conor Gallagher is yet to settle in north London but he occasionally
captained Chelsea and brings with him great experience from his time with Atlético Madrid and England. As a central midfielder, he could set the tone and it may bring him a much-needed confidence boost. WU

He'll just default to Van de Ven no doubt. No fucking chance he gives it to Gallagher as a relative new boy who has been arguably our worst player since joining. Very bad take from the journo imo.

The point is not he's the worst player going, or even the worst in the squad. It's that in the context of our season and what we needed at the time, he was the worst possible fit. He's managed to make the worst side in the league worse, or certainly not any better

I would make him captain tbh.

Yeah! I said it. Go ahead, give me your best jeers.

I just keep remembering his performances for CP and c'sh!t. So, there is a player in there, a captain even since he did become one. Just put him in his best position. If I was RDZ, I'd even ask him where he feels is hist best position for you in this mess to help most.

If you make him cap it means he has to play - we don't want to be in that scenario.

Which is a fair argument, if that's how he put it but I was just going off what you wrote, saying that he's the worst signing in history, which is just silly.
