No evidence it was Anderlecht, but I do remember this incident
Don't remember Anderlecht loving us when I was out there a few years back.
If I remember right we was supposed to play Feyenoord in the UEFA Cup in 2006/07 but they got thrown out for trouble they caused in an earlier game.
Also I distinctly remember it going off big time at FC Twente in the main square before the game. That was December 2010. The police that day where absolute arseholes.
Your right on the feyernord thing ..all the talk at the time was about hoping we'd meet.
I wasn't at the twente game but for. What I heard it was the locals having a go that's all.
If I remember right (it was nearly a decade ago and drink was taken) we had holed up on their main pubs, there was only 4 in the fucking city as far as I could tell, and once they got off work to have a beer before the game they became annoyed with us "taking" their pubs. Sure a few locals probably got involved but the main antagonists where the police, trying to get us to the ground 3 hours before ko. They went in heavy on women and kids, that was probably the only time I've seen red when it comes to police behaviour.

As a Belgian my team there is Anderlecht. Never claimed we had a link with Anderlecht.

Section next to us was empty , until it started filling up with Yids without tickets who were rucking outside lol at one stage we thought we were going to have to climb over to the next section as Feyenoord were climbing up the fence to get over, they thought better of it the more Yids arrived lol
Flares were being fired at us, people in the section above were pissing on us until we started launching coins at them lol good old days
