I think with us winning a big cup and getting back into CL that is kind of throws a curve ball at his plans. Atleti do get CL every season, but they are also so far behind both Real and Barca that I struggle to see them winning anything of note either. If he goes then it’s down to a big contract and getting to spend the next 5 years with all his Argie brothers

I don’t think it’s as challenging as some. If the game has something riding on it, he finds other levels.
Build a team around him that he can see is challenging for the league, he will be switched on all season imo
by putting better players around him and making every game important.
