This is what I'm talking about. You have ZERO evidence to back up this claim. Unlike Harry Kane, Romero has never refused to play for us. In fact he was so dedicated to get back playing for us that he binned off our Medical Department who couldn't get his body right and got the Argentinian medics to get him back playing in the back end of last season - and when he got back fit he put us on his back and won us a European Trophy.
He then signed a contract extension when everyone expected him to leave with a only a few years on his contract. Again he had absolutely no need to do that either financially or career wise. The opposite of your bullshit claims.
I suspect John's right and your anger stems from him rightly calling the Club out for throwing managers, players and fans under the bus with false promises about ambition and overseeing yet another ruinous injury riddled catastrophe.
There a million legitimate brickbats to beat Romero with as others have mentioned here repeatedly: why on earth you feel the need to repeatedly post unevidenced rubbish is, yes, crazy. I have no idea why some fans feel the need to act with so little grace but whatever... You do you mate.

Oh I don't know maybe it's because, despite only playing 1 of the first 9 games of the Europa campaign he was voted Player of the entire Tournament.
That's because when he DID return from injury he played the final 6 games where Spurs went 5 wins, 1 draw, conceded only 3 goals and kept clean sheets in the final two games - the last of which was the FINAL where Romero was unanimously voted MOM.
You people are genuinely insane and utterly graceless. It's a wonder any player would want to play for Spurs given some of the absolute tripe some of our "supporters" come up with.
