Player Cristian Romero

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The fact this joker is our captain sums up exactly why we are where we are.

He's so overrated by the fanbase, he must be the thickest Spurs player I've ever seen.
He really is a complete moron isn't he? Does the dumbest stuff and then argues with the ref over it. Quite incredible how he never seems to learn. 27 and he just keeps doing the stupidest shit.

Personally I prefer centre backs to be solid and reliable. Not part moron, part nutcase.

Sell this cunt.

Soon.

Gave Liverpool the first goal and destroyed any chance Spurs had of a draw by getting himself sent off.

Unprofesional and reckless when it really matters.

Should be investigated for match fixing; along with Vicario, VAR and most of the Premier League referees.

Love Cuti….Brain farts as well..
Whatever is said he would be my ist picked in this Spurs team every day of the week.
He had every right to feel aggrieved by the blatant shove down by Ekitike ,also referee not giving him as Capt the time of day in questioning the decision.

Yeah he stuffed up with the pass leading to the goal and more so with Konate no doubt, but nobody celebrated more when Ritchy scored.

It wasn't for the want of him trying everything he could to get us back into the game at both ends of park to make amends.

People who say he plays for himself…
Laughable….

100%, that sent him! like any normal person who isnt a completely fanny, if you feel you have been cheated you are going to see red. if he took that like a little bitch id be even more worried, shows hes a meek walkover who can be abused.
Sunday Pub League attitude.
I’d have been far more impressed if he’d got an equalizer to ‘prove he wasn’t a little bitch’.

Been going on about the players attitudes being the problem of late and this bloke exemplifies it. He's talented but he's a tournament player, he just doesnt have it in him for the week in week out bread and butter. Just looks switched off, lazy, arrogant and it comes across that he doesnt give a shit in 80% of matches. Needs to be moved on.

Tournament player? What a myth. Germán Pezzella is a tournament player too. Yep, him, the world champion! 100% super tournament player. BEcause he won a tournament.
Yeah he won a world cup and a Europa league in which he was superb in the semis and final. Thats my point. I cant be arsed to compile the amount of times he's let us down in the league because he's switched off, lacked dicipline or just not been available for whatever reason. This has been a consistant theme through 3 permanent managers now.

Tournaments are so much down to luck though.
Argentina lost against Saudi Arabia. Struggled with Australia. Were awarded a lot of questionable penalties. And in the end, won against Netherlands and France in shoot outs. Pure luck. And Romero didn't even take a penalty. He doesn't have the balls.

So yea, basing a player on such probability based outcomes, out of one players control, is extremely questionable.

It's in the league, game after game, that you can see what a player really contribute with.

Like I said, the pass itself wasn't the issue. There's always risk involved with those plays, but the potential upside of the pass getting through and allowing one to progress the ball often makes it worth it.

He had made virtually the same pass earlier on as well, but on that occasion it made sense because the upside was high: Getting out in the break.

Why would you make this pass though, with the wrong foot to make matters worse? What would RKM have done with it all by himself, with 3 Liverpool players surrounding him?

In reality that Argentina team had quite a few average players. Both full backs, one couldn’t get a game for Forest. Otamendi..say no more. It was as if they had to win it for Messi. Kolo Muani had the chance to win it for France in last minute. Sometimes it goes for you. They have still kept winning without Messi but just play South American teams because of all the World Cup qualifying and euro teams playing nations league.
I think I’ve had enough of Cuti. He’s not worth the hassle. Made him captain and he’s got worse.
Him and Richy just a pair of nutcases.

Days like yesterday make you wonder what a Vuskovic and Van de Ven pairing would be like . . .
At least Vuskovic can jump his height. Micky never got off the ground wwith that free kick that Van Dijk had a header. Van Dijk towered over him, Micky hardly got off the ground. Danso is far better in the air.
German press said when we signed Micky that he was poor in the air , they were right.
