I don’t think many would have a problem with him going to Argentina if Spurs weren’t in a relegation fight. The fact that his reckless play is a big part of the reason why we’re in this situation makes it look even worse for him to abandon Spurs for the final game. This is the captain being the first one to abandon ship.
Might be that we already have a buyer for him and are just waiting for the summer window to open , hope so any way as we need to rid ourselves of these losers who have allowed losing to become routine
The only times this might be acceptable - abandoning the team before/ during a crucial game - would be the birth of his child or death of an immediate family member. He's the club captain, not a ball boy. He clearly doesn't give a shit about Spurs. He'll be gone in the next transfer window, there's no other explanation.
