Yeah, I'll try my best to defend anyone who dons our shirt but I'm struggling to find a way to defend this.

Madders and Deki have been ever present, even hobbling around on crutches but our captain has decided not to be with his team for the most important match in decades, not due to injury but because he wants to watch another game?!
It's shocking behaviour.
 
Have defended him all along. But not being present in our stadium for the last game which is going to be so crucial for the club is the last straw for me now. Unforgivable. Sad state of affairs.

Even if he can't understand English he can't be so thick to do such a thing. I think depending on the outcome of our last game, history may just remember him badly after Sol the cunt. Such a shame.

If he were sick and that prevented him from going to the stadium, that's one thing. But going to Argentina to watch another team play... He wants to cut ties with the team, that's the message he's sending.
 
Wanted him sold in the summer regardless. 100% want the selfish cunt gone now. Never a captain and always an incredibly overrated player by some of the fanbase. Get fucking rid!

He spoke with the medical staff. Together they decided to go to Argentina to complete the rehab with the Argentinean medical staff. We spoke last week. With me he showed always his desire to stay with us. He is injured. I'm not stupid. If I understand there is any player who thinks for himself before the club, I can't be the same Roberto. But with Cuti Romero I can't say nothing because with me he has been correct from when I started until now.

Roberto De Zerbi if he understands why Spurs fans are so unhappy with Cristian Romero and he said "100%."

He also said on the Spurs skipper: "Not all leaders are the same. Ben Davies spoke with me and he asked to stay today with us and he wants to stay with the team in the Lodge in the hotel with his team-mates, but Romero is preparing for the World Cup.

RDZ started off with a polite comment but obviously he is drawing quite a clear comparison with Ben. A player who actually has the right character to captain this club.

Together they decided = "I want to go to Argentina". And it sounds like we've accommodated it.
He's not getting any better treatment there (or is he...?!)

Obviously De Zerbi will want as little drama as possible so will be pretty mild and a bit vague in his comments but reading between the lines, he's not happy about it.
