We will be forced to take a lower offer.If he were fit he'd be playing obviously, but the fact that he's seemingly said "Well I've played my last one there so I'll just fuck off" seems like a terrible business decision for him, and might even hurt the transfer market for him.
Always felt he'd be at Madrid or some such place if not here, he's a good player but not a leader and needs to be placed in a situation where leaders and a healthy culture already exist, because he's not internally motivated in that way.
It's exactly what he and Simeone wanted.
