You have more chance of startingId honestly play him against Brentford, sonny is useless in that role.
His confidence will be high, and determined to take his chance
Big Will Lankshear..how about Great Dane Scarlett?I think we've already got a nickname for this one

tbf I think fans were partly baffled by a CB coming off and a striker coming on ......
But it was a pretty spectacular introduction scoring with 4 mins, especially with the narrative being peddled by some that he had failed at Oxford and couldn't score ......... untrue of course but his quick goal took a lot of people by surprise. Quite funny too !
Great cross by Dejan of course
And Delap had the exact same football upbringing. Big club that he can't start in loans to championship clubs he impressed at. Scarlet seems to have had a rough time at Oxford but as stated before not through any fault of his own. Wanna see what he can do in the PL he can't be any more then Son playing ST solo
Thatβs what my hope is.Letβs be honest, it would be the most Spurs thing ever for us to strike it lucky with an academy kid coming of age ahead of schedule and getting a chance by accident because we fucked up on a big money signing in their position.

How do you think Kane ot his chance in Spurs First team ?
The Adebayor and Soldado double act were showing their scoring stats were rubbish .... so Kane who had had a few cameos was given his big chance to start a PL game for the first team,,, and scored ...... started his second PL game following week and scored, ....... started his 3rd PL game in a row, and scored.
Just another academy kid coming of age and given his chance due to other players underperforming (and Soldado/Adebayor double act was well past its sell by date after failing for weeks) - so certainly wasn't planned, just happened. Spursy if you want to call it that.
But its the way many players get their chance
He is a genius.
To give credit where it's due, Tactics Tim had played him a fair bit the previous season, much more than Scarlett has ever played. Kane made 6 Premier League starts and scored 3 goals in the final month or so.How do you think Kane ot his chance in Spurs First team ?

As good as his goal was I was more impressed with his touch and spatial awareness for the assist to Ajayi. Was first class.I think he should be given a chance. His positioning and movement is very intelligent and as his goal showed if you play to how he needs you to play and can pick him out I think there's a good goalscorer there. Looks to have grown a bit and the ajayi goal shows you can play off of him too.

And even that next season Kane got that opportunity from Poch after scoring every week in the EL.
I don't want to totally discredit Dane, and there might just about be a silver of opportunity here for him if we fail in the window over the next couple of days, but I also think it's not really fair to put too high of expectations on someone who nicked a goal against a bunch of Swedish farmers knackered and desperately attacking for their European season.
If Dane can be a squad player who we sell on for a respectable sum in a year or two that would be a huge success.
My best guess is that all of Solanke, Richy, Son and Werner would be preferred to Dane as a starting CF, maybe even Kulusevski, which is to say I think Ange will avoid starting him if at all possible. I think even minutes on the field are going to be extremely limited to nonexistent. The "heavily rotated squad" type cup games are over for the season.I don;' think Scarlett's role will be as main man - certainly not when Solanke is back, and probably even when Richarlison is likely to be playing CF but if Dane gets a start or two in place of Richarison before Solanke returns, it might not be a bad idea.
Once we get the players back in 10 days time our forwards become - Richarlison, Son, Moore, Odobert, Werner and Scarlett (plus possibly Kulusevski as RW) so we have 6 or more players for 3 places ..... and Solanke back in probably 3 weeks.
