On a personal note, and unlike Kane, I'm pleased the bloke leaves with us in the top 4 and being the current holders of the 2nd biggest European club competition.

I bet Levy celebrated as opposed to a few on here, who may now shut the fcuk up.
 
Defined by those back to back transfer windows without a signing, the ridiculous wage structure and missing the boat completely when we could have been elite.

We can now look forward to supporting a side that are as ambitious on the pitch, as they are off. That's all we wanted.

I suspect a sale will be in the offing now. All those rumours on June said this would happen, but obviously, given the amount of time this has happened, I dismissed it. But apparently ENIC are furious that goal posts have been moved in sale discussions, and this guy that's replaced Levy comes into ENIC's parent company's holding as a fixer.

In all, very good news and this place will be a much happier place now. Win win for everyone!
 
What the fuck. That is such a surprise. And real good one!

I mean at this time I think it is fair to acknowledge the foundations that he has helped to build for Spurs. I mean we are far from being on average 10th place team that we used to be (based on statistics though - all my time Levy has been in charge). We have all the resources we could dream of. But I always felt that he was waaayy too involved in footballing side of things. He took almost every deal as something to pinch out last cents from. When in reality sometimes you need to pay what is asked and even more. Just like Pool did for Allison and VVD. Levy did not have that kind of differenciation in his locker.

So what can I really say. Thanks for building the foundations. And now thanks for stepping aside and giving someone else chance to actually take the last step!
