Let's be honest Levy made a terrible mistake sacking poch 2019. Been a steady decline since he left which sharply declined last year. Half measures with Levy. I'm sort of hopeful with Frank but if hes not upto scratch I'd bring poch back to finish his unfinished business with us...winning the premier league and champions league

Let's also not get it twisted.
Finishing 17th is not a good look even if you do win a European trophy.

Ultimately the scapegoat for ENIC had to be sacrificed. But the optics mean Levy can leave on a high of CL, and a trophy win.

The antithesis of his tenure.

The EUFA win was...

But if Poch was properly backed from the start, and had the depth of quality we need, I think we would have have won things with him. We was a threat.

And last year, we nearly did a Wigan.
I don’t agree that winning the Europa is more impressive than making the CL final.

If we get relegated and win the Championship next season, is that our biggest accomplishment?

No because it’s an inferior competition which the superior teams don’t compete in. And the Europa has the exact same relationship to the CL.

Regardless, it’s a pointless discussion and I’m happy with both Poch and Ange’s successes.

Who's starting the Charrington Out thread then? :ossie:
I hate that hairy cunt already!!!

Honestly so many seem like levy means more to them than the club. The emotion they have for him. They will happily slag off our players, fans & manager but go all weird & defensive when it comes to levy.
You should see their responses whenever the mere idea of an oil tycoon or an American businessman purchasing our club. I myself am not the biggest fan of such a move but the moral grandstanding on that subreddit is abhorrent./

No way Levy is removed from his positioning without a takeover, we literally see's companies do this all the time whenever new management comes in. The question is if it is an internal takeover or an external takeover.

Competing at the highest level of club football is a better achievement than not being able to - doing so while not being financially backed to the level of your peers makes it even more impressive.

Winning a trophy is better than not winning a trophy.

Both things can be true.
