Probably the club is looking for a new owner and Levy leaving is part of that.

WrongTakes time to get things like this done. He needed to be voted out by something like 80% of the board. That takes canvassing etc at board level. There may have been hanger on-ers that weren't sure.
Excellent.From June 6th...
FWIW per Lee McQueen on Last Word on Spurs
- Frank to be next manager. Already had 4 interviews
- Levy also getting stepped down
- Munn out
- Board decision to sack Ange.
- Paratici probably back
- Hotel project getting scrapped.
- Peter Charringotn will step in as chairman
It seems like a very big u-turn from the Levy-Vinai love-in video and the Gary Neville interview. That all seemed to say that Levy was going to be a big part of things for many years to come.I'm confused, they allowed him to mess around with his usual antics during this transfer window only to bin him off once it closed. Why did they not get rid of him at the end of last season, and start fresh, new manager and new chairman??
Levy made it clear that any sale would’ve been dependant on him remaining a chairman….that would have been unacceptable to buyers such as the Qataris or Americans I should think. That obstacle has now been removed. We might also see a naming rights deal sorted now as well. We have lost any millions because of his own estimates. They've just sacked the person who held up sales. He has no say now.
This is definitely gearing up for a sale. And how many times have you seen Levy get sacked in all those rumours before? Something big is happening behind the scenes. Make no mistake.
I don't believe this for a second mate - cover up for the season to stop any press or stories hanging over the club during the season then next summer the biggest sale of a football club in history I reckon.
I'd pay less now, because the deal no longer includes the honor of giving him the sackProbably the club is looking for a new owner and Levy leaving is part of that.
No.It's a bit weird to have 2 threads running on the same subject, isn't it?
Yep. Exactly.Levy made it clear that any sale would’ve been dependant on him remaining a chairman….that would have been unacceptable to buyers such as the Qataris or Americans I should think. That obstacle has now been removed. We might also see a naming rights deal sorted now as well. We have lost any millions because of his own estimates.
