Don't talk about the on-pitch performance unless you're really going to do something about it!!
Kudus, Simons (Fecking wow!), Muani (Fecking wow!), Paulinha...

And some more exciting young talent... The window wasn't bad at all... Some proper good signing that has made the squad stronger.

The problem is, the club had a messy squad, that was going to take years to sort out, the process started under Ange, but even now, will still take a couple years (2 summer) transfer windows, to the have the required depth of quality to properly challenge for more silverware.

And it should really have never got to this point in the first place. When we got into the CL for the first time, Levy should invested from a position of strength.

I think he really did try to do put his money where his mouth is, the problem is (I am guessing here) that our transfer window could have been a lot better if he wasn't involved.

I think it was too little too late, and I think probably there were some signings that we missed out on, probably for petty reasons. But we will probably never know, and we will have a 1000 rumors and reasons, and only one might be close to the truth.

Vinai now has to prove he's not a gooner mole.

January needs to be a huge statement to the fans (relatively) that he's on our side and understands what we want.
Not going to lie, I'm pretty worried about Vinai. When he got announced, it was mentioned multiple times that he was Levy's mate. If that's the case, then I hope it's his ass who's out of the door next.

You know it's bigger than one decent window. There is plenty more to do. A lot more if we're going to implement ourselves into the top 4 and serious league contenders.

Honestly so many seem like levy means more to them than the club. The emotion they have for him. They will happily slag off our players, fans & manager but go all weird & defensive when it comes to levy.
Criticise him and the floodgates of insults pour out, down voted off the page in seconds. It's a very strange little bubble, up there with the psychos paying for ITK on SC.

Really? You forget something that happened in May?

I loved us winning it! I’d love a league cup. But I can’t pretend you don’t need to finish outside the top 4 to win it & the best teams aren’t allowed to enter. You have to qualify by failing in the league don’t you. & you can’t beat the best teams to win it as they are in the CL.
It’s like I’d settle for finishing 16th this season & winning the league cup over finishing 4th. But equally I know deep down the team who finished 4th is miles better than us! & we should have owners where we never even fall so low as we did last season! That is one hell of a shambles .

No - I think he wanted to take the window as a handover, one last set of deals
I think judging by the comments from the club this window was probably the final nail in his coffin. Makes sense now as to why he went for kudus, mgw, eze, savinho etc. I don't think other people want to deal with him anymore and he's shown he's not capable of getting us to the next level on the field.

Lifting the cup was special. Properly special.

What wasn't special, was the 90 minutes of a professional football team, not string more than two passes together, being out played by the 5th shittiest team in the league... Us being the 4th...

When that final whistle went, I was bouncing like a crack whore on speed. But I also can't forget the utter shit we was that night.
