But watching you squirm is so entertaining.

Im not squirming mate.

We can both play your game.

Its like me asking how many protests you attended and making out like you cant really have supported CFT if you didnt attend a protest?

Binary thinking and the need to be performative to prove one's allegiance is regressive human behaviour. I simply choose to reject and people who are trying to box me in to a 'side'.

Not leveraged though (ala ManU) is it? Plus the fact the repayment interest is so low (due to covid) the banks are drooling over the possibility of a change of ownership....which is a huge (imo) hurdle to get over for any prospective buyer.
Simpleton. Absolute simpleton

Yeah I know. I was being sarcastic. Yeah we are in a good state in terms of the stadium & finance etc. We are very attractive to buyers. I guess it all depends on if ENIC are unrealistic with the price they require to sell up. Hopefully they don’t over value us like they usually do with our players!

I’m a Spurs supporter, with a soft spot for Aberdeen. Just for clarity.

If I decided to invest in buying Rangers and was then interviewed about it, my response would be that I’m not in this as a supporter, but in for monetary gain. As I’m not a supporter of the club, but head up an investment firm.

Then the chance to invest in us comes up and my reasons for investing significantly change. But I’m not interviewed about it.

It’s pretty simple really. Surely you can see the correlation here?

Somebody pointed this out earlier and it hasn't really been spoken about enough.
How can any chairman of a football club of our size, with our fanbase and our wealth oversee a 17th place finish, avoiding relegation by just 1 position.....after 25 years in charge....
..., and expect to keep his job!
That must have been the final nail in his coffin. And deservedly so.
That’s what I was saying about levy making us a shsmbles & a disgrace. We should never be finishing 17th. So much has to go wrong to finish that low. Not one person would have predicted that. That should be a sacking offence.
That’s also the effect how lowly expectations are under levy & enic. We can finish 17 & not even much talk of people saying chairman needs to go because of that. In fact some wanted levy to stay on after such a low finish in the league. Honestly it takes some doing to get a club of our size to finish that low. The same with Manchester United. I bet we never see any of the big clubs finish as low as that for many decades.
I just don’t get why you want a chairman who gets us finishing 17th. That’s why I think some put their love of levy over their love of the team.

LOL you say that you want Levy out and make an excuse why you voted for him to remain in on the forum poll ( to wind up Levy out people) and you oppose the supporter group that have been organising protests that basically want him out.

If you think the only people that want Levy out are the ones that attend the protest you're delusional, most people have other things to do with their lives, and football is a hobby, an interest, a bit of escapism, or we'd all be at the training ground cheering on the players there. Some do but most don't.

I empathise with CFT, season ticket holders, other supporters who have had enough of Levy, football clubs need supporter groups like that, even if most others don't join them, like me they still appreciate them, I show my support for them by posting on here, but football isn't a major part of my life outside of this forum, so I don't go to protests about it, likewise I didn't attend the open top bus trophy parade.

He's gone mate.
Gone. Sacked. Booted out the fucking door....

You really don't need to defend him anymore.

Ahhh ok! So there is plenty of nuance allowed in your opinions and the way you choose to show support for the club, but not mine.

Got it.

I oppose CFTs tactics and messaging becaue it doesn't align with the way I feel.

I can simultaionulsy want new owners and not want to align myself with people who claim they have killed the club.

You dont think that is reasonable clearly,

I can also seek to wind people up that have done the exact same to me, but you seem to hold me to account for my actions greater than those who you seek to defend on here.

Either way, we clearly view things very differently.

This is like when Princess Diana and Elvis died with all the heartache . I never understood people crying over that. They never knew them but at least they had died , Levy just got unceremoniously shitcanned

I might be wrong…but was just wondering now that the dust has settled a bit. Could Lewis and the rest of the hierarchy have given Dan the heave ho because he fucked up and won a trophy? Not very us really under ENIC.

My understanding is that he was given one warning about this in 2008.

But we’ve been told so many times by the Levy in people that it’s manageable debt at low interest blah blah. So are we moving to the unsustainable levels now? Please tell me how every other club on the same income and even below us manage? The goalpost just keep being moved to suit a certain narrative from what I can deduce .
Exactly what I was calling out. Twisting things or changing the goalposts depending on the argument.
The ‘levy in’ people say we can’t compete with the spending power of cheats like city & Chelsea. Then the next minute they tell you spending big has no bearing on success. Just look at Manchester United!
