I've been going down the lane since the late 70s and Rose is easily the best left back I ve seen in a Spurs shirt at the lane considering all the stick many gave him when he was starting out its jus an incredible story. hope he gets a trophy because the idea that justin Edinburgh has a fa cup winners medal and Rose might not have anything would be a absolute travesty.

He's actually worked miracles with those two, as he did at Southampton with their FB's. He's also brought through some serious talent with players like Kane, Alli & Winks to name a couple. Also look at players like Lallana now. How many England players has he gifted to the useless cunts at the FA??? Must be a record.
He's a really top manager. He's still learning too. So much more to come from him I think.

I think he has reached that point where the biggest clubs look around the world and think to themselves, who is better? And he is better than what they have currently too. So yeah I could see a strong bid for him at some point in the next year. I expect we will tell whoever it is to fuck off.

I could see him leaving for a truly insane fee. Man City and Man United have really inflated the market for English players with deals like 35 million for Shaw and 50 million for Stones, if one of them comes along and offers 60 million for Rose I think Levy would have a hard time saying no. That's like 20% of the stadium paid for right there.

I agree about the fee, it could be that high because the fees, especially for English players, are so insane. Plus he is left footed and proven, and young enough still. And he is much more than just a defender, he really controls the entire left side of the pitch and gets forward into the penalty area and has a very good cross. Invaluable really. But I don't see Levy selling him to a competitor as it not only weakens us it strengthens them. Plus, I'm not sure Rose would want to go anyway at the moment. Maybe I am wrong about that, but I think he and others will want to stay a couple more seasons and see what happens. I really hope he stays he is absolutely fantastic and irreplaceable.
Maybe, just maybe, he is so good at the moment because of the way he has been managed, mentored & loved? And is played in exactly the correct role by a bloke who knows his shit? He is a wonderful footballer. He won't go anywhere as long as our club treats him correctly & tries its level best to match his ambitions. Danny Rose is the daddy.
