Ex-Spurs Player Danny Rose

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Even if there was an insane bid, even 80m it's a no.

He and others belong to that core we need to win trophies.

Ferguson didn't sell Scholes and Giggs, did he?

No.

Selling any of our players that we want to keep just because of the dosh on the table will send out the wrong message.

The floodgates could open if we show we are a selling club again.

80m for Rose?

If any player wants to go, then I trust Levy to rinse every penny out of the buying team.
If any player is deemed not good enough for Poch, see above.
I think we are now beyond being seen as a selling club. You can't keep players at the club who don't want to be here & whilst it hurts when they go Bale, Modric etc) it remains part of football. I just hope the current crop see what is happening at Spurs & take a leaf out of Hugo's book. Best training facilities in the land, soon to have the best club stadium in the land & a manager who literally walks over hot coals with his players.

It's very exciting & I sense the players see it the same way. Genuine greatness is within touching distance & I can see us being contenders for a long time to come.

Rose is sooo much more than a LB. With him on the pitch we can seamlessly go 3 at the back. Oppo teams so far have not been able to handle that.

Only played 2 matches with full team and 3 at the back. Beat the best team in the country comfortably in one, destroyed team in 8th in the other. Utterly destroyed them.

Putting it like that, Rose is invaluable. We haven't got anyone to replace him. If Citeh bid £80m for him I hope we'd turn it down, and please don't call again.

What are people thinking - selling any of our players would be beyond crazy! This is the best team I have ever seen; sure we've had better individual players, but the Team is now the be all and end all. Why would we want to upset the apple cart if the player doesn't want to go? Money in the bank is not the measure of a successful team, trophies, winning games and playing exciting football is.

Rose is 27 in July and we would be fucking mad to consider 30 mill in todays transfer market. I just don't understand any Spurs fan that would consider or want his transfer.

FM-itis... Fucked a lot of young'ns up.... Thinking the game is just about buying and selling players... My reckoning is that many of this ilk are more enthralled by the transfer window than they are the actual games.... Hastily grabbing for scores and stats before impatiently awaiting the final whistle of the next set of fixtures.

Bench for Chelsea would be great. Especially with the prospect of extra time.

But as long as he's back for the North London Derby, I'm happy.

I'm not Totti Totti and know every player in every league by name. But 80m can get you some great players right now. I think we can get by with a Davies filling in for Rose and the team can be better with 80m to spend on a Kane backup or someone that can push for a spot in the midfield.

Or we can just get Isco:levyeyes:

I mean it's 80m we're talking about.

Did the Bale sale not teach us anything? Also, look around at other teams that spent huge money on transfers this past summer. Spoiler alert: We are currently above all but one of them in the table.
