Agent is requesting he gets a transfer... Tottenham deny the request. Reports are that Ade is on £225k a week - This could fuck up our season if true and I feel sorry for JD because he could be blamed for it.
 
The last time Defoe spat his dummy out and left he ended up at the mighty Pompey.

Never been anything other than a midtable striker.

We need a total overhaul of the front players asap.
 
I saw play him against city. He'll be dropped for the next game regardless of what he does so let him play, bang in a hat trick and we'll wave hello for the 3 or 4 substitute he makes between now and the end of the season.

Ade may be on that, but we certainly aren't paying that.

If I'm not mistaken Defoe has fairly recently got a new agent, who is also most likely making sure that he himself is getting paid. How often to agents talk crap just to get their player a new deal.

"Hey look at Jermain, he's not getting game time. Why don't you put in a bid? I'll make a nice 20%"

Defoe will get games, Ade may get injured, and VdV almost certainly will.

The only reason I feel that may make him want a move is the fact that he is 30 and the Euro's are next year - he'll want to be in the squad as it may be his last chance at a major tournament. If this does happen I can't see us selling him or letting him go on loan this window. he offers us something very different from VdV or Adebayor and Harry just needs to pick and chose the games he plays to his strengths

VDV up top on his own just wouldn't work against City, there is no way he'd lead the line, he'll constantly drop too deep. Might as well stick Bale as the Striker

Totally disagree - Adebayor drops really deep (or off to the left) for us - so much so that we rarely play with a line leader, and that is the way a lot of possession teams play.
