funny how people disagreed when I said Kulu is going to be a huge miss. Don't know apeshit about his role and strength.
I agreed with you, but felt it was a bit too depressing a thought to publicly support. We miss him horribly when hes not playing. He's our only creative link between midfield and attack. I personally think he's undroppable, but obviously the egos (and likely, contracts) of Kane and Son get in the way of being able to fairly distribute starts in a truly meritocratic fashion.

last year we played with moura in the first XI until january.
then when kulu was out again moura was the alternative.
this season with kulu out we have two options: 343 with richarlison or 352 with bissouma.
that's the great work paratici did this summer

Other teams are willing to play their youth through rough patches and grow them. If Conte really wants to succeed with us, hes going to have to try and develop our younger players- he's never going to be getting the funds he needs to buy and assemble a team in a way he feels comfortable with.

If Gil, Spence, Sarr, and Tangy don't see any time before the winter window, Levy and Paratici will need to make a decision about what they heck they are really doing with Conte- that'll have been 80m of talent bought and paid for, doing nothing. Conte refusing to commit to extending his time here definitely makes it look like he is very willing to walk at any time, and makes me think he's not that willing to change.

Some people don't realize that every player on our roster is a strategic piece and option for managers. If the manager can't get past his players' egos and media, that's his weakness.

If it is just two weeks, that’s not TOO bad. Just have to hope our forwards can cope with the added workload until he’s back

Got a feeling he isn't the only one carrying a knock/injury.

But this is a prime example of how the world cup makes this season so unpredictable. Those teams without players there will benefit the most.

Literally zero positives to this shitty world cup

(Apart from Wales finally fucking reaching one, I guess. I mean, that is a great feeling but boy do I wish it wasn't to fucking Qatar in the middle of the fucking season).

Just feels like we've been robbed of a proper WC (whilst having our domestic season fucked over t'boot).

I would say we'll have to look forward to 2026 instead, but Cunt-FIFA seem hell-bent on ruining that with like 200 teams anyway.

Bin vote cast for your undying positivity!
