Much like others were placing all their faith in changing to 5-3-2.
He wasn't even starting before his injury. I said on another post in a 352 he doesn't play and 343 he's rotated with Richarlison.
Maybe we need a formation where our best (only?) creative player starts. Or he can play in the midfield 3 with 2 of PEH/Bentancur/Biss/Skipp. But he needs to be in our best starting 11.

Yeah. His recovery was going well and then one day the situation worsened. When this happens you have to restart. You need time, you need time. We have the medical department to face injury situations and they have to face it in a short period. If you are good to solve it in a quick way then it can mean points.

Kulusevski is injured. Occupational hazard.
In the summer when we were linked with this player and that, to be one of our 6 attacking players we fell short.

Normal hamstring pull. They are not good. High rate of recurrence unless it’s given time to fully heal.

Lots of us said at the time it was a fuck up and what a surprise, it has turned out to be one.

That's a blow. I think barring the first 30 minutes vs Brighton the rest of that game and the game vs united the 352 hasn't worked out as expected. I think its allowing far too many shots and we're struggling even more to build up play from the back. I wish we'd give a few back 4 formations a try.

352 was a game-changer vs Brighton & Everton.
Vs United the team stunk the place out, but that was hardly a matter of formation.
....An extra MF should mean conceeding less shots; not more.
A back 4 is a pipedream under this manager.... Don't torture yourself.... We don't have 2 rock-solid CBs for it anyway.
If we play how we started vs Brighton then yes. I thought once they got to grips with us they found it quite easy to break our lines and make us struggle to play out. The change did work well vs Everton. I know we'll stick with a 5 but I think we have too many liabilities defensively and would be better suited to an extra player further up the pitch.
Well once we get Kulu or Rich back I'd assume we will..... It def. won't be at the expense of a CB though; so it'll be back to complaints that our 2 MFs are being "over-run".
