yea hes defo well off it. doesnt look as sharp as he was. he never recovered from being dropped when he was our best player. its actually mad that he was dropped, cunty has destroyed his confidence.

i trust he'll be fine for the start of next year he comes across as a diligent pro who wants to get better every day going off his interviews.

not sure what can be done about his speed, but he defo needs to get stronger, noticed hes been losing out on a lot of duals recently and hes not exactly small (duals that someone his size should be winning). if you cant be quick at his size at least be strong and start bullying some fullbacks in duals.
I think he’s as strong as an ox mate. I just think he’s fucked. Him,Sonny and Kane have looked jaded for a while now. Kane gets away with it because he still produces and doesn’t rely on pace but it’s even more important sonny and deki are fresh going into games. Our formation kills those two.

you might be right on that one, maybe he is absolutely shattered. ive watched him lose lots of duals recently where he has to be winning. hes not exactly quick and elusive as a winger so he has to win the duals hes going to be put in due to not being elusive enough.

not worried about him because hes proven he is a very good player with good intelligence and can do the basics.

O...k...Not sure what weird thing you are trying here

He's trying to act like its wrong to actually point out when players are shit, because apparently this is mean and scapegoating and you're 'blaming' them. When in reality, its a forum discussion board and when a player has been poor (as Kulu has, all season) then its perfectly natural people would want to talk about this.

And *maybe* bring up the perfectly valid question of do we pay 30 odd million for a player who has had 1/3 of a good season and a whole terrible one? Of course, very rational sounding questions on the surface, but again this is apparently not on & every game he stinks the place out we should ignore and just blame everyone but the player. It's the weather, the system, his teammates, the star-signs...

If a player who has played 1700 mins this season who is in his early twenties and has a top speed equivalent to your average tortoise is tired then we may have a few issues here.

I am saying people have unrealistic expectations of players and are also keen to chase kudos by pointing out players are shit and then love to be right about so jump on every mistake to scapegoat them.

In bold makes my point perfectly. Kulu was excellent before his injury. He's been rough since I give you that but that rough patch of form has already turned into:

He only had a purple patch at the end of last season and has now been found out.

Always thought he was slow

Can't use his right foot

etc etc

Anytime anyone says anything positive about him, all the same crew get so threatened that their genius discovery of "how shit Kulu really is" might just be them scapegoating a 22 year old that they jump on every post to enlighten us that he's been "Poor all season" even if it's not true.

Jose a founder member of the Ikea rimjob mafia???
david goodbye GIF

Slowest winger in the league.

I'd say in all of the "big 4/5 leagues" but Lo Celso has been playing some LW for Villarreal.

Much rather see Kulusevski in the middle of the park, but preferably not at all.

He sure falls down more than any ox I've ever seen.

Idk. Is wanting more than 2 goals and 4 expected assists in 1700 minutes from an attacking player unrealistic? Kulu's had loads of times to recover from injury. Is nearly a whole season of form a rough patch? If so then his "good patch" is comparatively nothing.

I've no interest in scapegoating him as he's far from our worst player and not responsible for the shit we see, but I also think within this there's a very fair discussion on whether we want to pay out for another non-HG player who has had a year of bad form and needs space/the right system to shine.

He has 2 goals and 6 assists in 23 prem appearances this season.

8 goal involvements from 23 appearances in an injury-disturbed season when one of his coaches also died, the team stunk, and the head coach was off sick then got fired.

Last season:

5 goals and 8 assists in 18 prem appearances

He's 22.

Yes we do want to pay out for one of the best talents in his age group in Europe. If we don't, somebody else will and we will regret it.

Yep, 2 goals, 6 assists but 4 expected. So teammates being extra clinical boosting his numbers a little.

That's a looooot of excuses.

Nice, so a good purple patch vs a poor whole season, but its irrational to judge him off the whole poor season because (insert excuses) but rational to judge him on the patch of form when the team was flying and Son/Kane finished off everything he created? Ooft.

He's looked very far from one of the best of anything this season and looked very far from one of the best of anything at Juve but I'll take your word for it.
