And still, he's only just coming to the boil. There have been games where the criticism was fair. To quote Pep:

Either the bidding function is broken, or someone REALLY wants to own the shirt that Deki wore in the first half against Forest.

He's definitely very productive and is objectively an effective player for us at the moment.
I haven't really managed to watch most of our games lately because weekends have been a nightmare but I still probably just don't much like watching him play .. which is definitely a me problem that will continually mean I don't rate him as much as others do.
Which is fine, I rate Bissouma a lot higher than some people seem to now due to aesthetics.
What's your excuse for thinking Conte was on Pep's level, for rating Sanchez, for wanting us to stick with Nuno?
I'm not as fond of this player as you are .. cope with it I guess. When he has his next downturn of form you can assume my position hasn't changed at all.
I made that comment back in 2021, Conte had just won the league with Inter, and that was the common opinion regardless
I also didn't rate Sanchez either, I said that people should give him a break and have the same energy for him when he plays well.
Also I wanted us to stick with Nuno because there wasn't anyone obvious to replace him.
These aren't quite the gotchas you want them to be, but at least you tried.
But you know all of this because I explained that at the time, but you prefer to ignore the explanations and live in your weird binary world where you prefer to make disingenuous arguments.
I don't have a problem with you not rating Kulu by the way, I just think it's hilarious that you were so adamant that he couldn't play as a 10 when it's more than obvious he could and bringing up players like Diaby and misusing stats purely to aid your argument, but whatever you need to do to cope I guess
And the funny thing is that I absolutely know it hurts your soul when he plays well because your precious online ego is far more important to you than supporting this club and our players

No they really are. They’re awful opinions that you’re now trying to defend. But it’s okay … we all have awful opinions now and again.
The rest of this is just projection, when he is in a perceived good moment you’re more worried about bizarrely making some sort of point than anything else. Just like in the ENIC thread.
