I might have mixed them up. Thought it was Bentancur on first glance.
Not going to criticise this guy after 30 minutes of football in a Spurs shirt, not when the likes of Emerson, Winks, PEH and Sanchez were absolutely stinking out North London this evening. You can smell how putrid they were in Hampshire.

needs to get to grips with the physicality of the prem real quick. not going to have time on the ball without having it stuck on you, unless youre playing against spurs

I remember when I first said on here he is very slow and some guy posted a link from an Italian journo rubbishing that he was slow .
Play him centrally pls.
Play him in midfield or centrally behind the strikers not out wide. The lack of pace isn't so much an issue centrally but out wide it could be.
I think he needs to be more central whether that is as a right central MF in a 3-5-2 or playing behind Kane-Son in a 3-4-1-2 but don't see him being a great fit as a RW and certainly not a RWB as some have suggested.

He’ll be fine. Needs to learn any English football and once he does he’ll prove his worth. Till then, rightly behind Lucas who looks quite every currently.
The worrisome thing is I was expecting him to be slow and he was slower than I expected. This on a day when Southampton looked much brighter and more energized. A lesson should have been learned from the Gil signing. The Premier League is much more athletic than the European leagues. Kulusevski obviously has skills passing and may turn out to be a serviceable player, but today didn't allay the doubts about him.

Bentacur was jumping to block JWP's cross.
Kulu let the scorer run past him, then just stood there at the edge of our box watching.

He was also at fault for the 2nd goal btw. He saw the runner and decided not to follow. Lucas would never ever have done that.
He's not some random place-filler. He's a player both Fab & Conte had existing interest in.
