Player Dejan Kulusevski

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The final parting gift from Big Ange is literally crippling our best attacking player from last season.

My clearest memories of Kuluseviski are him trying to dribble too much on the wing with his head down and when dribbling didn't work he would attempt to shoulder barge the opposition defender in a 5050 thinking to himself that he is some kind of physical beast but 9 times out of 10 would lose said physical duel and consequently lose posession of the football.

His passing was far poorer than some fans gave him credit for and prior to his inury he wasn't scoring much. He was a slow player and surely will have lost significant pace when/if he returns from injury.

Might have to just be a Ryan Sessegnon type situation and just release him this summer and hopefully he can build himself up over the next few years elsewhere and return to form.

Finally, someone talking sense. For the whole season people are making him as Maradona or even Kane. He wouldn't contribute much with this group of players or coaches. I would start Kudus every chance ahead of him. In the middle, he is behind Maddison, but ahead of Xavi.

How about a little kindness for what tge bloke must be under. I really feel sad for him. He wasn't a coward and he had a few real barnstorming performances

I wish he was around right now because he's a lot tougher than a lot of our flakes. That said, Frank would have over-played him, he'd have turned to mush by Feb and be out injured now anyway.

I read that his knee literally shattered. Is that actually true? Is that even something that a player can recover from?

On the whole, I thought he was too slow and held onto the ball too long.
But that was playing on the right side of the 3 in a 4231 formation.
He was better in the middle of that formation and last season, in the first half of it, seemed to be our main source of goals and assists.
His lack of pace is pretty worrying and that's gonna forever be worse now. If he ever plays.

The "limp" is just a stiff walk IMO.
Could be anything.

I wake up like that every day, it doesn't stop me running.

He doesn't look comfortable and he's not walking fluidly.

He won't have just woken up either in this video.

I guess we will need to wait and see.

I do agree with others though that he's been a bit overrated since he was injured.

He was a really frustrating player with mediocre end product who often slowed down our attacks.

He's been a miss this season because of the injuries, but ultimately he's not really good enough to play 10 or wide right. He's essentially a squad player. We did need him and be good to have him back, and who knows how he would have performed this season. But he's largely been a frustrating player in his time here.
