Ok, 2 things: 1) was "our best stuff" actually good stuff? Relative quality is useless. Was it obejctively good and effective stuff? 2) was it due to Porro or Kulu?I mean our best stuff, such as it was, came down his side tonight.
Competence, not quality. Horribly 1 footed, cannot resist pressure with the ball at his feet, and can only get his head up in space.
I call shenanigans on this.
Funny you should say this because he's been extremely useless this season. He wasn't an "extremely useful" Serie A player so it's weird to expect or describe him as one in the PL. Rarely does that happen as what would make someone good in teh PL would certainly carry over to Serie A but not necessarily vice versa.
He's capable when space and time is provided but if you cannot provide your own then you can NEVER be described in such glowing words. You can be bottled up and he has been all season.
We must stop the love affairs with average players because they are our least smelly turds. Just got rid of one in Dele and now we've got another in Kulu (though at least technically competent on that 1 foot). It may take time but you'll see. We need players that can effect games without perfectly cooked porridge.
